December 7, 2014 "Dreaming of a Winter WONDER Cruise"

Hi!

I just booked this cruise for me and my family! This will be my first Disney cruise (I've cruised other lines in the past) as well as for my two daughters. My husband has cruised Disney once in the past (10 years ago).

A little about us:

Me - 35 (at time of travel) years old, working full time and a part time business owner (photography and travel business).
Hubs - 36 (at time of travel) years old, working full time for our business
DD1 - 7 (at time of travel) loves Disney (taken to the World twice) and her baby sister
DD2 - 1 (at time of travel) starts to dance when Mickey Mouse Clubhouse beings.

I've been having an internal debate with myself on whether to go to the World or do a Cruise. After all the price comparisons and time frame we'd like to stay in FL and the cruise won.

Since it's just you and me, so far, a FE hasn't been started for this cruise.

I was thinking of waiting to see how many other travelers find this thread before offering the FE group.

I created a Facebook Group for this cruise date:

The group name is "Disney Wonder Cruise for December 7 - 12 2014" - So original, right?

I think it would be a great way to get to know each other and (probably) a little easier to chat and keep things up to date (fish extender, etc). Also, it helps (for me at least) to be able to put a face to a name.

I've set the group to public so it'll be easy to find and join; I can set it to private at a later date.

In addition to the Facebook Group, I've created a file for the Fish Extender Exchange. The file has been attached to the Facebook Group, and in the event there are some non-Facebook users, I've added the document to Google Docs (just click on the link, it'll take you to the document).

We're North of Baltimore on I-95. I agree, it is fun to find a 'neighbor' on the Dis and it looks like we'll be neighbors onboard as well-we're currently booked in 2112

Hey Gang!

So, we're 10 months and 2 weeks away from our WONDERful cruise and thought I'd drop in and say "hi!" and see how everyone is doing.

Also, would anyone be interested in getting together at some point during the cruise? This could be on embarkation day, or maybe a day at sea? Just throwing some idea's out there.

Any East Coaster's on here? How much snow did y'all get this week?

And couldn't wait to find you. I just rebooked this cruise yesterday. We are from Ohio. It is my DH Marty, myself Lisa, ds6 and dd4. My mom also is joining us. We are in for the FE. My brain is already working on CHristmas themed ideas.

My family is excited for the cruise already!! And glad I found this thread and the Facebook group. It is our first disney cruise ever and we're bringing a big group. I'll be traveling with my husband, daughter (4), and 4 grandparents and a great aunt!
We are definitely in for the FE and I know the rest of the group will too!
