We are leaving on a Disney Cruise 12/28 and have the option of coming in on 12/25 (late afternoon flight). We would then plan on MK (to start with) on 12/26 and hop around the parks for the day.

We'll be spending 12/27 over at Port Canaveral just relaxing prior to the cruise but we have 2 days left on our Hoppers and are somewhat interested in visiting the parks since we can't go after the cruise (school will be back in session) like we usually do.

However, we don't want to kill ourselves with TONS of people. I was somewhat hoping a lot of people actually fly in on the 26th and the place isn't a madhouse until the 27th?

Thoughts? We don't mind some crowds, but if's it the "most crowded place on earth" versus "the happiest", I think we'll wait until Oct 2005 when my kid's have Fall Break.

Thanks!

Actually, with Christmas on a Saturday this year, people will be flying in on Thursday night or Friday during the day, and on the day after Christmas (Sunday) the place will be packed solid. I'd wait until October.

It depends on the park you go to and what time of day you get there. MK shouldn't be crowded if you get there early. It normally doesn't get too bad until around 11AM. After that Epcot probably wouldn't be too bad to hop to but the FP's will be gone by then.

We're usually there Christmas. Some years over Easter and the crowds aren't bad if you go early.

This past Christmas, the parks closed several times to guests because they were full. That was for the days from 12/25 through 1/1. It will be a madhouse.

I really hope you are right about when the crowds will arrive at WDW this Christmas. ::yes:: We are planning on visiting the parks from Sunday to Wednesday or Thursday during the week before Christmas (We get back from our Disney cruise on Saturday the 18th). We were also thinking (hoping) that most people would arrive right around Christmas day, but sometimes I read reports of the week before Christmas being really crowded......:crowded:
