December 22, 2013 - Disney Dream 4 Night Bahamian Cruise

Howdy everyone! We are going back on the Dream for Christmas! My favorite time of year with my favorite Mouse. A girl's Christmas Dream coming true. We booked this trip when we sailed this summer. We did not think we would like cruisin'. Well, we were horribly wrong and we loved it! My DH and I are headed our on Magic on Friday in fact instead of going to WDW. Our first adult only trip since 2005 with each other.

Now, on to the important part..

I am the Disney nut or enthusiast (depending on who you talk to). My name is Robin. I have been to WDW 5 times, Aulani, and the Dream. We are DVC and go back to our beloved Aulani next summer. DH is Jason - he loves showing up and letting me do the obsessive planning thing as long as I allow some lounge time. Then we have to other Disney fan, my DS Sager - 12 now ( he will be 13 GULP) when we sail. His teenageness is setting in with the eye rolls and embarrasment by Mom. I am not allowed to sing or dance in public unless we are somewhere Disney related. This was our compromise. It is tough, but I think fair to him.

So, we are ready to experience some Disney Christmas magic. We flew home from Aulani on Christmas Eve and wouldn't you know it, Santa can visit on an airplane! I am a firm believer in Santa and I know he will stop by to see us on the Dream. I bet he loves Mickey bars, too.

We would love to be on the FE list. Seeing these on our last cruise looked like so much fun. I can't wait for all of the fun!

I'll get you added to the Roll Call and the FE list (drop me a note with your cabin # when you get a sec, I think we have a little while though). So is Aulani your DVC home? It looks like there will be plenty of other teens on the cruise so Sager should fit right in. Isn't it funny how the cruising bug hits? That will be great sailing out of Galveston on the Magic, I'm curious how that cruise will be. Well, happy sailings we'll see you in 446 days!!!

Sager is a little shy and I hope he gets out a little more. Our table mates' son got him out a few times, but he preferred staying in the room and watching DVD's on demand. He must have watched at least 6 movies over the trip. Aulani is our DVC home, we went the week before Christmas. We fell in love with the feeling, the CM's, and the beauty of Hawaii. We bought there to ensure we would get back there. Of course, we are going to try ro make that trip every other year for as long as we can. We also own some points at AKL so we can get back to other home while at WDW.

I am going to try and take good notes especially on embarkation for Galveston. I am doing a little recon for my TA on the hotels in the area. I will do my best to do a trip report. I am great at taking notes, but horrible at pictures! So, we shall see. I will PM my room #. I had to get 10 posts before I can. This one should push me over.

I am so excited for this trip.....I have never cruised at xmas and I am too a beliver in Santa and I'm sure he'll make a stop on the cruise.... I have been thinking about what to do for the FE.....

Just back from our cruise sandwich...Beach Club, Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise and Animal Kingdom Kidani Village. Great trip! what a beautiful ship and our first time staying at the Kidani villas very nice!

Great to see the Friday count down is moving right along Santa will be here soon and so will the one year mark!
We had a large Dis group on the Fantasy and it was a blast! can't wait for this cruise

Hello Everyone! We are BIG Santa believers (at least for DD5) and so Santa will definitely have to find the boat. DD11 and 16 whom will be 12 and 17 by then I'm sure will just want something Apple related or money.
