Okay, when we left off in part one, we had just done MK and were getting ready for MGM, still my favorite park.

Day five, December 4
This was my day. Like I just said, I think MGM is my favorite park, I can't explain why, but I just like it the best. We started out with Beauty and the Beast, but the best part for me was the pre-show entertainment, a group called Four for a Dollar. They are an a cappella group who came out pretending to be doing mic checks and final preparations for the show who just broke out into song. I love a cappella music and these guys were very good.
We eventually did MuppetVision, Magic of Animation and the backlot tour. This was also the first appreciable rain we saw on the trip, so it was a bit of a downer.
We managed to also see Little Mermaid anmd the Great Movie Ride and we had lunch at the ABC commissary (which was the worst meal we had the whole trip, and not because it's bad). After the Little Mermaid, however, was when I had my big chance.
I noticed that as we had come out of the theatre there was about 5 or 6 minutes before the last game of Millionaire for the day, so I hustled up the gang and we got in as they were calling Last Call. I knew I was in for something good when I saw that I was in seat number 86 (a very important number to any Red Sox fan). As we sat down, there was less than 2 minutes before showtime, so I was barely comfortable when the Fastest Finger question came up, about the order of instructions for using a fire extinguisher. Since I am from a family with three generations of fire fighters I could see no excuse for missing this, much less being the fastest.
Here come the results, and our first Hot Seat contestant is....... number 86!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eleven questions, three lifelines and one total guess later I was playing for 125,000 points. The 125K question is... In what country would you find the world's largest waterfall? I honestly do not remember two of the possible answers, but I do remember two of them... Argentina and Venezuela. My gut instinct, before seeing the answers, was Brazil, so when that didn't come up, I went for the only South American country on the list, B, Argentina, final answer. Survey said...... X. it was Venezuela. Rats. But I still managed to win some cool stuff... a Millionaire 32K point winner shirt, a 1K winner hat, ten pins, one for every level I successfully achieved and a Millionaire pin lanyard. Not too shabby.
After the show we went to see the Osborne Christmas lights. What an amazingly impressive display this is. By the time we were done there it was time to go back to the hotel. Quite a day, but if I had known Venezuela.......

Day six, December 5
Sunday the 5th, we slept in and then DW and I went and did a little more offsite shopping, then we went to DTD for even MORE shopping. Pretty quiet day, as my mother had come down with a bug, so we took it nice and slow.
We had dinner at the hotel cafeteria, where we had been eating breakfast all week (the cheese danish are awesome). Dinner was a bit disappointing, but still good for what it was.

Day seven, December 6
This was our last full day at WDW. We started out doing something that I don't want to jinx, but with a little luck I'll have some good news to post about as soon as next week ;)
We picked up my mother at the hotel and went to Beach Club to look around and have lunch at Beaches and Cream, which we all thought was excellent, not to mention it was free, a product of what we had done earlier in the day. :jumping4:
Then we got on the ferry that goes between Epcot, MGM, the Swan and Dolphin, Beach Club and the Boardwalk and we just rode around for a while.
Eventually we ended up on the Boardwalk for a little while, then we headed back to Pop to get ready for dinner at Whispering Canyon.
Whispering Canyon was nice, the scenery was beautiful. The meal was a bit pricey, though, especially considering the limited menu. I did manage to get one of those big half-gallon cokes and I finished it :faint: and I got to do the Buttercup Dance with all the other dads, but we agreed that this may be a one-time thing for us.

Day eight, December 7
Leaving Day is always sad. We had a 2:00 flight so we were able to take our time leaving. In fact, we had time to go back to DTD so that DW could buy something she had regretted not getting before; a nice charm bracelet.
At long last our Disney vacation was over :( but we had so much fun and we are all looking forward to going back, but who knows when????????

Thanks for your time, I hope you enjoyed it.
