December 15, 2012 A Yo-HO-HO-HO Holiday Fantasy!

David and Kevin

David ... Well, Don't move it that way! :lmao:

Hmmm :scratchin ... Sounds like the Worldwide Man Club COULD use a doctor! My standard fee for Cabin Calls is 1 beer, then, depending what you need, it can go up from there. ;) Do we have a special handshake or anything to recognize each other? :grouphug:

Not sure if we can keep it a secret from the boys (or if it really even IS a secret right now). We usually manage to keep them guessing for awhile, but at some point end up telling them. Maybe we will tell them we have backstage passes for the Justin Beiber concert. They would LOVE that! :rotfl2: (They probably would refuse to even GET ON the plane!!!)

ER doc and mens club,

If your house call end up with Labor and Gyn calls, let me know. a drink works well for me if you need a labor nurse. PS if any of the men decide to have a baby, I volunteer to be the nurse, photographer and co-author of the book with you...after a book with pictures of one of men club giving birth neither of us would ever have to work again. We could just do a DCL cruise while in early retirement.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: And all the members of the Hen's club will boil the water and tear the rags just for the opportunity to watch!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Only if they get hooked up to the machine that shows when they are about to have a contraction so when it starts we can tell them "Oh, it's a big one!"

I still think it is hilarious that they do that as if we don't know we were in the middle of one.

I like your fees:thumbsup2

Have to work on a secret hand shake, with David on light duty it may be awhile. We are planing on having a get together at some point on the cruise in O'Gill's. We will have our secret hand shake when we have the group meet.:grouphug:

We have banded together with the Hen Club to defend against the other cruise ships while in port. Looking for a good combined name for the group if you have any ideas.

Don't look at me. After watching the Video's for first aid training and the ones DW and I watched for class when ours were born. There is no way I would do that. My hat goes off for all you Moms out there. The is a reason why God has you all give birth.

Kevin[/QUOTE]

How about, since the Boss on the boat is a Mouse, ::MickeyMo we call ourselves  ... the "Mouseketeers"??? We could even get matching outfits, and maybe wear a hat that made it look like we had mouse ears! :earboy2: Then we could have these neat rapier swords, and run around shouting "All for One, and One for All"!!! :cool1:

THEN ... maybe some big TV producer would spot us, and give us our own show, I don't know, maybe something with a "club" or "clubhouse" theme to it. We would all become rich and famous, go on stadium concert tours singing and dancing :rockband:, live forever on DCL and never grow old :tink: ...

(hmmmm ... wait just a minute :scratchin ... has this been done before, or am I the 1st person to think of this???) ;)

I couldn't agree with you more Kevin. If we guys were in charge of giving birth, I don't think the human race would have made it past ADAM & EVE!!! :worried:

We booked our port excursion for St. Thomas! :cool1: Since we are first time cruisers we decided to book with an outside operator to Buck Island as we are concerned there will not be any space on the Disney Excursions when we are finally allowed to book. Thanks to ShinyDaisy for the tip! :flower3: I think for San Juan we are just going to do on our own and check out the forts and Old San Juan....maybe eat at a yummy restaurant. We live in Costa Rica so we have the rainforest experience pretty much at our doorstep. But if you are going to do the canopy trip, it is a neat experience...at least in CR it is a blast and I am sure in PR it is fun as well. :)

Our family is already getting antsy to get going on this trip...and we still have 159 days to go! patience, patience......yea right! :crazy2:

Thanks Lee for all your hardwork on the FE list! Your rock!:worship:

Hope everyone one has a pleasant Sunday!

Psss, Hey David come real close and make sure no one is looking............oops, not quite so close..... ok thats better. No one else around, good. I think I have this remote thing worked out. 1st we get us a man cave, er workshop yea thats it a workshop. (to make great things for our DW's) May be even call it a Laundry Room:thumbsup2. Put in our own big screen TV with our own remote. It just might work, do you think our DW's would buy that we need a "laundry room" Say 20' x 30'. What do you think???

Kevin.

Yes, Man Cave is the way to go. :thumbsup2 BUT ... instead of even NEEDING our own private remote, we use voice recognition like on Star Trek, you know, where they just say "Computer" and tell it what to do. :happytv: "TV ... Playboy Channel" (we would only be listening to them discuss the articles, of course) ;)

And if the DW's tried to change the channel, they would get "unrecognized voice command" in that sexy, breathy, female, computer voice ... I MEAN ... that boring monotone machine sounding male voice! (whew! hope no one caught that) :rolleyes1

Serious cruise discussion time

Just finished watching the Oscars while catching up on emails.

Oscars = red carpet which leads me to fashion and cruise formal night

I have decided to wear a full length gown and pretend I am a Hollywood starlet.

Please use your imaginations and play along with my delusion when you see me.
Thanks.

So what is everyone else thinking about wearing?

When we were in the Med, on the Magic, Wendy took her gown, and the boys and I rented tuxs and shoes. Everything was hanging in the closet when we got to our room. It worked out well, we'll probably do that again.

To all who are taking part in the Fish Exchange. Besure to secure your pocket fish extender to the fish outside your door. I intend to use plastic ties to secure our fish extender. On our last cruise, our b2b on the Dream last September. We took part in the fish exchange - we bought a wonderful 4 pocket fish extender from a very nice lady on ebay. She did a great job on ours and even personalized it with our family name for us. On the last evening of our cruise as we were packing up all of our things, I opened our stateroom door to take down our fish extender only to find someone had stolen our new 4 pocket fish extender. We were very disappointed to say the lest. It was not an expensive item, we just never thought anyone would steal something like this. Of course no one turned it in, so we never got it back. I don't know how any one else will be able to use it for themselves, as I said our name was on it. Just wanted to let everyone know.

The NERVE of some people! :furious: We must have got ours from the same lady on Ebay (Grady'smom, I think)? That really sucks, and as you said, it was personallized. Ours just has our 1st names on it, and a generic "Sailin' the 7 seas" on it b/c our 2 boys are my stepsons, so they have a different last name than me and my DW. I will be bringing zip ties along for sure!

So excited for this trip! party:

Thanks again, Lee!:grouphug::cheer2::cheer2:

OKay, I have found I already own the perfect unique umbrella to lead my tour. It is easy to spot in a crowd. Bought it at the Scottish festival on a really hot summer day to avoid sunburn. Have never actually used it in the rain
http://www.keilys.com/sclifusium.html

However, it is not a compact umbrella so I am wondering about how to get it there. Hmm, still looking

Cool! That's how I came to have a small black :umbrella: with Mickey. I saw others walking around with them :scratchin
That was such an awesome day!!:cool1:

You might consider shipping?:confused3

When we got back from our first cruise, I was looking at some of the pictures we took. I saw this one Donna took of me in St Maartin, I was standing on a short wall with Emily our granddaughter with a beautiful view of the ocean behind us. I was wearing this T-Shirt that made me look like I was about 7 or 8 months pregnant!!! Of course there was no baby in my belly...............big ol' belly................but it sure did look like there was!!! There will be no men giving birth on this cruise (they can't can they Tim!!!),:confused3 they so ladies don't get your cameras ready, and no need for a co-authored book deal in the works either!!!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

:grouphug:
Tim

Tim, I did what you said and IT WORKED!!!! I stopped moving it that way!!! You are the best man!!! I woulda never thought of that on my own!!! I guess I owe you a beer!!! Payment will be made on board the Fantasy at O'Gills, if that is ok with you!!!

Yes...............the Worldwide Man Club needs a doctor in the worst way!!! We do have a special handshake, but it is so rarely used, I'm not sure I even remember how to do it anymore. Kevin.................KEVIN will know, he knows everything. He is our esteemed Mr President of the Worldwide Man Club. I think he helped write the by laws of the club or somthin' like that!!!

I couldn't agree with you more Kevin. If we guys were in charge of giving birth, I don't think the human race would have made it past ADAM & EVE!!! :worried:

I agree with you guys on that one. I know I couldn't do it. If I get a hang nail, I'm ready to go to the ER and get a shot to knock me out!!!

I just wanted to share a problem we had on our last cruise, and suggest a solution. Tim, we got our FE Extender from a Ms. Parks on ebay. She did a fantastic job on the first one, so I went back to her for the second one. I got the idea for the plastic ties from a tip I read on here some where. So you better believe I'm securing ours good to our fish!!!:thumbsup2

Hello Everyone!! So excited to start my FE shopping/crafting, now that I know most of who will be in "my" group. Also looking forward to starting my PRE-Trip report. Thinking of starting at 150 days to go:)

Very ready for some Cruise talk, been a rough month or so, focusing on the good things in life will do me good!!:beach:

Cleaned my toaster to get ready for any messages that might be headed my way,:thumbsup2 and got extra batteries for MY remote, hid DH's in the lounge chair cushion, hasn't found it yet :rotfl2:

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I have been thinking.......I know that is not a good sign:confused3:confused3

We are packing to move into the new house so.......the luggage has to get moved........and the clothes have to get packed and moved......you thinking what I am thinking..........Pack the cruise clothes into the luggage and all done....right:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Kevin
