I hope you and Donna are feeling better. Skye and I are doing better every day. We even had 3 whole days of sunshine and 70's. Cann't remember the last ime we had weather like that.

Come to think of it my DD has been using the toaster oven eveyday lately. Hmm................. We even had to make a Costco run the other day for more bread to feed it.

You don't think.......nah it cann't be...........that our DD and your DGD are using them to communicate

Whenever the ol' sun comes out it makes you feel better. Glad to hear everyone in your household is on the mends Kevin. (Does Skye lay on the couch and make you wait on her hand and foot like Donna does when she ain't feeling good?!?? Just wondering?)

Your DD and our DGD could very well be using them to communicate. I almost stuck a fork in the thing when it started crackling..........but them red glowy things kinda scared me. And besides, if I had talked into it and it talked back to me...........well I would have probably ran outa the house screaming like a girl!!!!

Hey there Mr President, you sure do dress nicely. I almost wore that same outfit today. How embarassing would that have been. At the last minute I opted out for the plaid look.............you know plaid shirt and plaid pants. Their not the same colors but...........I like to make a fashion statement!!! I felt like a plaid kinda guy today. I sure am getting the attention today at work. The girls in the front office are smiling at me and giggling to each other when I walk by!!! I'M LOOKIN' GOOD!!! DW said she knew I would get the looks today and she didn't mind!!! She even helped me pick out just the right outfit to wear. Gotta love that woman!!!She's always looking out for me like that!!!

Today is Dr. appointment, pedicure, shopping for booze and laundry/packing. The road trip portion starts tomorrow mid-morning. I'm getting pretty darned excited to see all my DIS cruise pals and looking forward to all those sea days! My cabin mates for THIS cruise will be along for the ride too.

If you all have anything you want added to my post on page one, it might be a good idea to send me a PM, as it might take me a while to get caught up on the DIS when I return.

We might be interested in that too. We've already done the Bacardi thing twice and I'm a nerd and love to learn about where I am going. Please keep us in mind for this. I'll check with Nemo.

We're planning on doing San Juan on our own. We want to walk around Old Town and see the San Juan National Historic Site.

Kids under 16 free.

Depending on where we dock it is walking distance, if not we will get a cab.

And poor dd might even be studying this place using the For Teachers/For kids materials. Provided on the site. I taught a class at the co-op last spring on the Klondike Gold Rush before we went to Alaska using the For Teacher materials. Fantastic fun class.

We like to do any national parks we can as my sil used to be a ranger. She's brainwashed us. Plus I'm a history buff. As in interested in it and still learning.

In exploring the site, I found a Disney connection, part of POTC 4 was filmed there--look under the news arcive section for details.

Jackie, if you see Patryk Orestes from Poland...give him a hard time! I can't believe that he is on the Wonder for the Hawaii trips...and then he is on vacation, so we won't be seeing him on the Dream next month. We had him as our drink server on the Dream...he did a fabulous job for his second week and has been promoted from what I understand.

I'm jealous, but hope you have an amazing vacation!

Hey everyone! We may be jumping ship on this one. We have a couple of sets of friends that have booked the 8th western on the Fantasy...soo we may be joining them.

Skye, I looked at the thread for that one and it is like 11 pages???? VERY different than this chatty group! It isn't a done deal (freaking out over the price difference since we would be changing more than a year after booking!).

Hope everyone is having a great week. It has turned cooler here...I made chili yesterday and we had highs near 90 a week or two ago!

In four weeks we will be on the Dream...I have SOOO much to do!

Hey Amanda, ya'll still thinking of jumping ship on this cruise? Hope not, sure would hate to see you and the family leave. But, I do understand if you do.

If you do leave, I believe Skye, Pam and all of the other girls.........uhhhhhhhhh.............gals.........uhhhhhhhhhhhh.............members of the Hen Club would their eyes out. They would miss you and your leadership skills. 2-Actually out here, white socks with sandals is a common thing to see in the wintertime if not bare feet in sandals. My bff never wears anything but sandals with her sparkly toes

Socks and Sandals is all we wear here in the PNW. Well not all, we do wear clothes too.

Except me, my footsies were raised in Miami and I keep them nice and warm. They are so looking forward to going back "home" so they can shed their shoes as much as possible.

Yes, my feet are nudists whenever possible.

Skye- who is feeling much better now that the sun is back where it belongs. You see the sky needs the sun as much as I do, lol.

P.S. Terribly sorry for all the puns, all I can say is I have been married to NWDad for almost 23 years. After a while it does wear off on you!

Yep, here I am, the packing procrastinator! Well, there was still one more load of wash to do, so no point starting the packing yet, right?

Did all the errands: Chiropractor, bank, pedicure (CUTE toes...pink with a white flower), booze shopping (3 Banfi Rosa Regale, 1 Cupcake Moscato), lunch with sister, a stop at the dollar store and Dairy Queen (mint chocolate chunk Blizzerd for my reward whan packing is done), charged the phone and Nook.

Still need to put new batteries in the camera and pull a few weeds in the back yard and take out the garbage...that should do it! (Well, then putting stuff IN the suitcase!)

ALSO, if I was still working I wouldn't even be home yet do do it...yah, that's the ticket, no need to start packing till at lest 5:30....another hour of goofing off!!!

My favorite toe nail polish is a purply pink called "I am not the Maid" with a white flower and blue sparkly. Looks great with blue jeans.

I live the color, but think I love the name of the color even more because it makes me laugh- some of them are quite hilarious- I would love having the job of naming colors.
