Hello Everyone!! What a busy weekend. I work in a hospital in Roanoke VA where more than have the surrounding area is without power in the heat wave. Staying a hotel tonight because of the heat. Last time I looked I think the death count in Virginia is over 8 because of Friday nights storms. I am fine and my home is fine and we were without electricity for maybe 6 hours however I have friends that may be without lights until Saturday July 7 in the heat. I know that our hospital er was on the diaster plan. Please pray for the areas affected.

On the better things...The list...updated cruiser list with the FE groupings is ready to go out(or will be tomorrow afternoon. How do you all want this to go out? I can try to post it on the facebook page for one. I will also try to have the Secret Mickey parings that I know about people wanting to do done by Thursday unless I get called to work.

Fish extenders is like a secret santa for a group. Each family gives gifts to the others. These maybe purchased, handmade, may be for each individual or for the family or a combination of the above. It is the thought that counts. This is why we have to have staterooms. As those of you who have GTY get assignments, I will need to get your updates. If you upgrade at port, you have my room number, leave me a message and I will have a corrected list available at our DIS meet once we are onboard. (and No I will not plan it!!!)
The doors have a fish or a seahorse to hold notices and people make or buy fish extenders to put on these which have pockets to hold the goodies you recieve. You may given your goodies to others as you wish.

Secret Mickey is where one family is assigned another family and they given gifts 2+ times during the cruise. The limit for this is 25-30 dollars to spend on the family throughout the week. Who your secret Mickey is will be revealed later during the cruise either last sea day or Castaway Cay Day.

Lee, so glad to hear everything is ok with you. Of course our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are affected.

We are getting closer to our sail date. And Lee is finishing up on the lists!!!! As far as delivering the lists to us Lee, which ever is easiest for you as far as I am concerned.

Had a very nice week-end this week-end. I did have to do all of my yard work Saturday, but other then that it was a good one. DW and DGD went shopping this past week-end. Finishing up on cruise clothes for them. DGD made the honor roll at the end of the school year. We are so proud of her!!!

Got some errands to run this morning. Hope everyone has a GREAT day today!!! Talk to ya'll later!!!

Wow! I have missed a lot! We have been busy working on school stuff here. I had already purchased curriculums for the girls for next year before life changed and all the girls will be in school this fall, so we have been working on some of it. Heat here is insane! I'm not looking forward to our next utility bill, but at least we decided to not fight the lawn, so my water bill won't be so bad as in years past!

Our schools start in 5 weeks so we have begun shopping for clothes and supplies. I am not one to wait until the last minute!

A few days ago, my DW (Wendy 40), thought it would be a good idea to make this cruise our winter vacation ths year. We were sitting at swim team practice. So, I whipped out my iPhone, and contacted my travel agent. Somehow, we managed to book the last available Category V room (Cabin# 12028). We may end up with the late dinner seating, but are waitlisted for the early one.

This is our 2nd cruise. We did the Mediterranean on the Magic, June 18th, 2011. We are DH (me, Tim, 48), DW (above), DS (Jacob 12), and DS (Samuel 10). I am an ER doctor, and Wendy is an ER nurse.

Hopefully, it is not too late to sign up for the FE. The boys LOVED finding all the different gifts hanging there every day. Would also be interested in being a part of the Secret Mickey (which I had never heard of until now).

The boys SUSPECT we may be taking a Disney Cruise this winter, but have no idea where/when. Wendy keeps saying she "has no idea what they are talking about" every time they try to question her about it.

Can't wait !!!

Do you have any special plans to surprise your boys with the cruise? I have tried a couple of times to surprise the family...........I just can't keep my big ol' mouth closed!!!

Say Doc, while I have your attention...............................I have this pain.....................right here...................and it hurts when I move like this.......................got any ideas??? Will this keep me from playing the piano??? lmao:)

Yeah, I did................that's what I was trying to ask the Doc / Tim about. Seems when I reached for the remote, Donna was reaching for it at the same time. Of course because of my Manly abilities, I got a hold on it first..........but she twisted and turned it and wrenched it out of my hand. And, now my wrist is hurting. I don't think it is broken...........but it hurts pretty bad boss, I nearly passed out from the pain!!! You may have to put me on light duty for a week or so.

Yeah, Doc / Tim we men of the Worldwide Man Club sure could use a good man who knows something about medicine. We seem to get hurt allot!!! Kevin, who is the President of our Man Club Chapter, has sleep depravation, Sarge, our Sargent of Arms, is constantly in the field and getting hurt, me, I am the Goffer , I do a little of this and a little of that, I constantly seem to be hurting myself one way or the other. I hope you will join us in this constant battle with our DW's over control of the TV remotes!!!

How do you plan to surprise the boys? Maybe a fake medical convention with a short visit to the coast for the Space center?

How gullible are your kids? We once surprised ours on the door of Disneyworld as a bathroom /dinner break on the way to a National Park. They had absolutely no clue until we stopped the car to have them take out the luggage.

Now in Florida, we can do better with surprising because I have family there. (Even in Kissimmee St Cloud/Orlando area) so they never know if we are really going to see family or not.

I say they- but we are down to only one still at home the others are grown
