December 14, 2013 Disney Wonder 7 night Bahamian Cruise

I have cruised on the Wonder and Magic and cannot tell one from the other. I know there are differences but from man that does not pay attention to decorations I though they were identical. It was nice that I knew where to go because everything is in the same place. :teacher:

They were built by the same shipyard within a few years of each other, just like Dream and Fantasy, so they are very similar. I still like the magic class better than the dream class!!

Hey Y'all,
Anybody know if we are on the standard rotation or if we are different because of our unique itinerary?:confused3

Just about to pay in full and get my dining/nursery, etc reservations... wanna make sure we 'skip' the right nights!!

The dining rotation is split into three groups. You would need to have your TA or you need to contact Disney and see if you can find out what dining rotation you will be on.

So, if I don't have a TA do I just call Disney?

Hi guys! We just booked this vacation. We fell in love with the Magic back in May, and wanted to be able to go out of Galveston before the opportunity was gone. So here we go again on the Wonder in December!

I sent a request to the Facebook page as well.

There are 6 of us, so we have adjoining cabins! Now to think about how to tell the kiddos :yay::yay::yay:

We just cancelled our WDW December trip and booked for this sailing. So excited. I don't know what we were thinking, going to WDW when DCL is in Texas?!?! Went at Halloween and Christmas last year. Just signed up for Facebook page.

I would try calling Disney. If they cannot help post on the Facebook page and I will give you the information for my TA to see if they can help you.

We sailed the on the Magic back in March and just changed from the Fantasy to Wonder. I hope we made the right decision.

Hi all! It looks we are also on this sailing! We actually have had it booked since last summer, and it was really a "dummy date" that we were looking to push into 2015. I went on-line a few days ago to cancel or push it a little further out, and realized that we could actually take this cruise without the kiddos missing any school (and the pricing is fabulous!)!
I have gone on FB and requested to join the group there. :cool1:

We have over 47 families on the Facebook page, come join us. If you do not want to join us on Facebook post here and we will gladly help and/or communicate with you.

We have created a private Facebook page for us. Many of us have done this in the past and it worked out really well to share information. If you do not have Facebook you can do like me and just create an account and after the cruise cancel the account until your next cruise. We will still monitor and post on the DISboard Meet but the Facebook gives us a more open and flexible place to communicate.

We are from California and will be sailing with you all. My husband will be turning 40 during the cruise. My 16 dd is staying behind so it will just be the two of us! This will be our 5th cruise, and we will be going on our 6th one (all three of us) 4th of July on the Fantasy. SO excited!

I just booked (actually on hold) this cruise. We were booked on a Carnival sailing out of NOLA on the 15th but I've really been wanting to sail Disney again so I bit the bullet and am going to fork over the extra bucks for this cruise. It'll be me and my 2 daughters 18 and 20. I'm holding off joining the FB group simply because I want to keep the change on the down low. I'm not sure if I'll be able to communicate to my daughters the necessity of getting their pirate costumes spruced up without them figuring out what's going on. I'll just let them keep thinking we're sailing on Carnival. If I'm lucky I can keep it under wraps until we get to Galveston on 12/13.:rolleyes1 It'll definitely be a surprise since they've really been wanting to sail Disney again too.

Just found this page ! First time cursing with kids! Dd6, ds4
Welcome to the cruise. This board is slow because most of the people are over on Facebook. If you got questions, you can ask here or join us on the Facebook group.

Just finished sailing on the dream in October. We took two previous cruises on the wonder to Mexico and Alaska. So this will be our 4th!! So very excited! Also requested Facebook group access. :)

we are cruising on this ship. I requested to join the FB and want to participate in the FE but want to know how many things we will be providing. there are 7 of us in two cabins.

We are super excited!!

If someone who is not on Facebook wants some new details we are going to have a meet to get to know everyone at 2:30 in the promenade lounge on boarding day. Also we are trying to get a stateroom tour up and running. If you are interested in going or letting everyone see your room let me know. It would be awesome to check out all the stateroom levels and any unique ones like secret porthole or suites.
