Dec PTR, The More the MERRIER! 12/5 Upd... It's a BABY! reveal!

Thanks for reponding! I actually was able to score an ADR for Via Napoli at 7:45 this night!!! It is kind of a funny story actually. Over the weekend I decided to go on Disney's site and look for an ADR. I originally had one for 7:00 but cancelled it at least a month ago and switched to La Hacienda. I'm still not exactly sure why I did that! Well, magically on Saturday (or maybe Sunday) morning, what appears but a 7:45 time for Via Napoli! I was so excited.

The CM said something about the new system having a "cold" , but not to worry. I was so relieved I didn't have to call Christen to tell her half of our ADRs had been cancelled! I did call and tell her my traumatic story though.

Oh, and yes, I LOVE Target! Especially the dollar spot! Christen and I have found so many things for our trip. Sometimes the stuff looks really cheap, but sometimes it's the BEST! Actually, my absolute favorite tube of lip gloss came from there. As long as I don't grow a third lip from it, it's cool with me!

I'm sooo happy for you that you were able to get your ressie at Via Napoli!!! That is great news!!! I know what you mean, you just have to keep checking back for different times to be available. In June, I had our entire trip planned (for December) with all my ressies made! Then we changed our trip from December to June...and I only had 2 weeks to plan the entire trip! I somehow got ALOT of pixie dust because I was able to get ALL of my ADR's only 2 weeks in advance! Love that online system!!!

You are right, I had some issues when I was cancelling & changing my ADR's. The system wasn't showing them all. I knew it was possible to see them all because other people have told me that they've looked theirs up! For some reason, I had to go into my email & individually enter each number. It was a complete pain in the you-know-what, but it made me feel better to get a confirmation of all of them! (I should've just called the dining number! LOL)

Anyway, sorry that reply was so long! Just wanted to say Congrats for getting your ressie!!!!

Hi everyone! So I’ve decided to do a count down list of the top 11 (because I just couldn’t fit everything into top 10) snacks Christen and I (although I’ll admit, this is mainly my list) are excited to try in December. Well, some will be repeats for me…but they’re THAT good!!! Let us know what you think!

11) Baklava from Tangierine Café in Epcot – This is mine. I love baklava and since I don’t get to have it very often I’ve thought about trying it this trip while we’re in Epcot. It looks really good too!

That looks absoultely delicious!!!! I'm going to put that on my list for next trip! I wasn't hungry by the time we got to Tangierine Cafe because I had eaten at the Norway bakery.

I'm definitely a dessert person & could probably eat 10 in the same day but the humidity was ridiculous in June so I had to limit myself!

10) A Cappuccino Float from Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom – Also mine I just think this looks so good.

That looks delicious!!! Its a good thing I didn't know about it on my trip because I crave things like this!!! (I spent $90 last month on McDonald's Frappes & of course they don't compare to anything Disney at all...lol)

Adding this to my list as well!

9) Make Your Own Treats from Goofy’s Candy Co. in DTD – I know both Christen and I are wanting to do this. I had wanted to in May but never got around to it. I’m still not sure what combo I want though. Look at that oreo cookie though! Geez!

DELICIOUS!!!! I didn't get one in June either!

We went in the entrace at DTD right beside Goofy's, but it was so hot that day (humidity made it feel 105 degrees!) so I decided to wait until we were leaving so I could take it back to the resort. Well, by the time we were leaving, we were all exhausted & just wanted to go back to the resort. I left DTD without even going inside Goofy's! I forgot about it until we got back to the resort...then I wanted to cry!

I definitely want to get the pretzels! They look yummy! The rice krispie treat looks great too, but my vote is for the pretzels!!!

7) Either the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel from the Lunching Pad in MK or the French Toast from Main Street Bakery. I hear people talk about the pretzel all the time but when I saw this picture of the French Toast, OMG!

My vote is for the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel!

Or you could just get both...one for breakfast and one at the end of the day for a snack!

5) This one is a must for me – School Bread from Kringla Bakeri. I had it for the first time in May and I’ve been craving it ever since!

They were out of School Bread when I was there in June. I wanted to cry because I've read so much about it on DIS and never tried it!

3) I know Christen can’t wait for Cortlyn to try a Mickey Ice Cream Bar. This will make for some good pictures, I’m sure!

Definitely will make for great pictures!!!

1) And finally, what both Christen and I cannot wait to have – a Pineapple Dole Whip Float from Aloha Isle. I’ll be getting the float again but I’m not sure Christen has decided which she wants. Ahhhhhh…..

YUM!!! My son (2 1/2 years old) stole my Dole Whip on our trip in June! I only ate a few bites but it was delish!!! Next time I'll get the float for sure!

Great choices!!! You made me hungry now...and I want to go back to Disney!!!

Chocolate Croissant from Starring Rolls Cafe! I couldn't believe how good it was! I'm really picky about croissants & donuts because my great-gram worked in the best donut shop in our little town! This croissant was the best I've ever eaten!

Ice Cream (any kind) from Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort!

I'll think of more ideas for you!

Wow! That's quite a change, from December to June! I'm glad you were able to get most of what you wanted though. It's so weird how the ADR system works sometimes, right? I am super excited about Via Napoli. Hopefully you'll stick around for the TR to see.

Have you forgotten about us?? I have started posts several times and just ran out of time! Its been so busy at work, and then the holidays... Sigh... PLEASE forgive me... cause I do have some VERY exciting news in this post that I KNOW you will want to know! No peeking ahead... read everything first!

But we are going to be in WDW THIS WEEK!!!! I cannot believe it is FINALLY here! Omg... Its like a dream come true! We are all beyond ready to get away!

I packed up Cortlyn's stuff today. She's easiest. I'll have a few things to wash on Wed night, but for the most part, she's done. Nita is coming over tonight and we are going to package up the gifts for the girls and kinda come up with a game plan of everything they are getting. I'm thinking they will need to actually unwrap things... more fun, right? I'm thinking Shelley can package hers up down there with my wrapping paper.

I remembered a little bit ago that I hadn't prepaid for the photopass! YIKES What was I thinking?!?!!?! So, I have to do that in a little bit. I have ordered my MVMCP tickets and I need to print them off.

We did have a slight hiccup in our plans for after disney, as we are headed to GA for a wedding and to do Christmas with our family. USM (The school Corey works with)is going to the Beef O'Brady Bowl, and he will have to leave from Atlanta to St. Pete earlier than expect. I am NOT happy about this and our plans while at home are all up in the air at this point.

Okay... so there was something else I was going to mention... hmm.... what was it??? Something not about disney. Hmm

Well, the baby... is completely healthy. I'm sure that was the FIRST thing that popped in your head. We saw fingers and toes and happy heartbeats...

I will say though, 3 years ago right before we left for our December WDW trip, my doctor told me I was having a girl. 3 months later, right before my baby shower, he informed me it was, in fact, a boy. I had originally planned to buy Minnie's from each of the world showcase pavilions, but decided against it when I realized it would be pretty pricey. Thank goodness! Sometime boys just want to surprise you!

No... this means we might shorten the time home. But as of now, we still don't know for sure! If he ends up having to leave on Sunday, then there is no reason for us to have a big shin-ding without him. We'd do all the presents and such at a different time, I guess. And if we aren't going to be doing a big thing on that Sunday with his family, then I need to get back to MS, because I'm taking a couple of unpaid days. I'm just so thankful the bowl game isn't messing with my disney trip!

I probably forgot to mention this, but I'm in a wedding on the 18th that is throwing a monkey wrench in the Christmas planning while we are home. So, that makes our plans a little harder. Plus, my niece and nephew are in high school and college- so they have their own schedules for us to try and work around as well.

We're back and had a WONDERFUL time! Once we got over the absolutely FREEZING in Orlando, it was a blast! Once we are back and have actually settled down from our crazy whirlwind trip, I'll start a trip report. Our food was amazing, our hotel was fun and Cortlyn did GREAT! Only problem is that Corey is saying that we have to wait until the new baby is Cortlyn's age before we can go back... what is that about?!?!

So glad you had a wonderful time. Skip keeps saying to me, "aren't you glad we didn't go since it's been so cold there" but honestly a cold day at Disney is better than anhy old day in Ohio. But I am hoping it is a sign from God that things will be better when we do go.
