Dec Pin Codes

Has anyone gotten a good Dec pin code? We went to WDW in May with a really good room rate discount and are thinking of going in Dec. We are hoping for a good room discount again, besides the free dining. We have never gotten a pin code and we have been going to WDW for over 10 years. I go on the disney site and put in dates and save offers, but no pin codes yet. Besides the free dining, is there ever a public room only or package deals for Dec?

I received the Monster PIN that included December dates, but that was several months ago. I have not seen any other room discounts codes yet.
Last year there was a public room discount for December.

Carolyn, my family did the same thing! My mom really wants to see the Christmas decorations. The free dining isn't really cutting it though. It doesn't seem as good of a discount. So I will be on the lookout for a PIN or a discount.

I got this pin, also. I think it was about a month ago. First pin we've ever recieved and it enabled me to talk DH into another trip!

Last year we used a public room discount for December. Hope things work out for you. It is really beautiful throughout WDW during that time.

I got a 40% off room rate monster pin that was avaliable during the first two weeks of December. They are offering FD during that time as well. That is what I know about

How or when did you get the monster pin?

I got the monster pin as well. I think I got mine in January. I've used it three times this year. We are also using in nov. 28-Dec 5th. We got POP for 7 nights for 533.00. My pin was triggered by going to WDW website and saving several vacations of different levels. If you want a value resort pin, then placing a 7 day hold on sports or music will almost guarantee a pin code after the 7 day hold expires. Just make sure you check your email.

I created a new account in my husbands name and a month and a half later learned that he already got 2 pins. I created the account on June 3rd, and he got the FD pin and 40% off any room, and it includes dates in December. Try a new account for your hubby!

OK, I assume you're referring to an account on Disney's website; if so, where do you find out if you have pins?

OK, this made me crazy too ... You can't "save" discount offers, only full-price. If you go through the regular, non-discounted link and put together a room-only or vacation package the save button will be at the bottom left hand side of the screen. ... At least that's how it worked for me.

Do they send pins out on a rolling basis, or only at certain times when they send them out to everyone lucky enough to get one? I created an account for my DH, and saved the same vacation we already booked. So I should just let that expire? We check in on a blacked out date for FD, and honestly, I'd prefer 40% off (we're staying deluxe) than FD, but I'll take whatever I can get. We can afford our vacation as booked, but if I can save some $$$, of course I will!

hoping for a pin as well. booked ASMovies for me and my 3 year old nephew dec 12-17. with a discount i could add a 7th day or upgrade to a moderate.
