Does anyone remember when they posted the Dec free dining last year? Im trying to decide between Sept FD and waiting to see if they do one for Dec.

Dec FD wasn't available to the public - just a few select people who received a PIN and Disney Visa cardholders. The December dates were 14th-20th, I think, and it was released around mid Sept.

that's my plan, just book Oct3-whenever (that is our anniversary) and then hopefully wait and see if December comes out before then. It's just so stinkin' hot still in the fall. . .and I miss seeing the Christmas decorations.

I was there last year in Sept and it was like walking on the sun....Im not sure my DH will be very crazy about the heat. Plus Ive never seen it at Christmas. Ill keep my fingers crossed. :)

We're in the same boat here...I really want to avoid the heat of late Sept/early October, especially with 2 little kids. I decided not to book FD since its really not that great of a deal for us. I hope there is some sort of package deal for Dec or maybe a room only code, or of FD is extended, I'll take it!

well, except for the rainstorm of humidity:sad2: at the same time!

I've been to Las Vegas in the summer at 107 degrees Farenheight and felt cooler!

We did still have fun and just timed out meals for off hours so we could get out of the heat in late afternoon.

Here's hoping for Dec. It is just beautiful then.

I posted this same question yesterday on the free dining thread and got this response (which includes all the specific dates from last year--so I'm copying her answer to me here...)

"Last September Disney Destinations sent out some emails that offered free dining pin codes for select dates in October, November and December, 9/28-10/11, 11/9-11/22 and 12/12-12/20 to be exact . These emails were random, not for the general public, and the codes were non-transferrable. About two weeks after that Disney Visa sent out a free dining code for their card holders for the same select dates in October, November and December. Those pin codes were not part of the regular Fall Dining promotion and there was no general public fd code offered for any of those dates."

So - it sounds like if it comes out if will be out sometime in Sept. Not sure how the dates would coincide with holidays and stuff this year--but these are last year's dates. Hope that helps :)

It's just such a fabulous deal for us, with 4 kids and two of them older teens.

No 40% code can even come close to beating that for our family.

Altho, I did receive my first couple of codes this winter and one was 40% off, we did not end up using them, we booked a cruise instead! ah! Now that's some kind of free dining! :rotfl2:

Glad I went ahead and got the Disney Visa. Good for those special extended dates and pre-releases.

We took advantage of the Disney Visa deal and the package wound up equal in cost to free dining PLUS a small room discount. We went over the Christmas break. It was a fantastic deal! :thumbsup2

We are the same way, 5 kids and 2 adults and 2 of those children are teens....although the 5 and 6 year old can usually eat more LOL Still it's a great deal for us. We've got it booked for late September using the bounceback from last year but we're anxious to see if Disney Visa will give out another FD code for December as we really want to use that as our 'gift' this year to the whole family and see the decorations. Hoping it comes out for all of us waiting.

Does anyone know when the code came out using the Chase Disney? I don't want to miss it while I'm at Disney LOL

Oooo, nice. So I can book that one before I leave for the September vacation....won't that be fun ;)

The code will be the only way we could go this year. Otherwise it will be next year. I so hope they will release more great deals as September does not look like it will work for us. I can hardly wait to see if the deals are released!!
