well we were wanting to book the 5th and 6th of dec but every where is booked even for disney collection. is there something special that i am missing happening that weekend besides the mvmcp?

I've heard that with all of the special offers this year, places have booked up. December 5th and 6th is only a few weeks away. Many people who could not afford to stay on property before are doing so now, even upgrading. I'd keep checking back, though!

I believe Pop Warner arrives the 5th, plus I read the taping of the Christmas parade is the same day.

That's one of the most popular weeks for DVC reservations. It's low points season and members love the holiday festivities. I should know - I've gone almost every year I've been a member! Booked exactly 11 months out. 17 more days to go!

Exactly, it's the weekend of the Christmas Parade taping, plus Pop Warner Football and the Cheerleader competition. The 5th and 6th have been hard to get for at least 7 months already. I switched resorts at the 7 month window and I know when I switched, the 5th and 6th weren't available anywhere (including SSR)!! Luckily I already had them and was able to get my waitlist by going day by day.
