Why haven't they opened those dates yet? We want so badly to book the 7 night for those dates because you depart Christmas Day and return New Year's Day. Should we book the week prior and then transfer when those dates open? Any suggestions would be great.

They are probably going to change the departing day and the embarktion day so they do not fall on those days. Sorry. You'll probably have to pick the one that you want to be "magical".

Hi
We were on the 12/28 eastern cruise and tried to book for next year while we were on the ship and no surprize sold out 80%!!! So we asked about 2004 and this is what the TA told us on board the ship.
Because the dates are on a Sat - they are looking into making them 10 day cruises!! So you are not boarding on the holidays! This will be interesting.................. let's see what they do!

Sign me up now, Coach!

Ten days over the holidays - wow!

Rae

Any details yet??? We were thinking of cruising next December and need some dates.....

Thanks,
Kamy

No I've called and they haven't opened up those dates yet! As soon as I hear I will post!

We just booked for a 3 night land/ 4 night cruise aboard the Wonder for 2003 that is considered the New Year's Eve cruise. Yes they did change the DCL schedule so that cruisers will celebrate New Years on the ship. We leave on Dec. 28th, a Sunday, to start our land portion. Normally that is when the cruise should start, we leave on the cruise Dec. 31 a Wed. As our TA said, I don't know how they did it but they did change the cruise rotation. This also works out perfect for us because we are giving this trip as a surprise Christmas gift to our then 11 yr old daughter. I am glad DCL changed their schedule.

I know when we discovered that Jan. 1 '04 was a Thursday we thought the cruise industry with short(4 & 5 day) cruises would be upset, most short cruises start on Thursdays and who wants to party to the wee hours in the morning when you leave the next day! or when you have to end your cruise! So just keep checking and it wouldn't surprise me if they did a 10 day cruise, lucky you if they do!:D Happy Cruising to all. Kathy

If they do a ten day cruise, you might see me bring in a New Year on the Magic two years in a row!
