I was hoping that the rides would be empty, but I am thinking that with Disney giving away tickets people are going to want to do rides and not just see the parade or performances.

I've done a little more reading into what is going to be required of these freeloader guests.

Only a limited number of spots are available for this, so I seriously doubt that they are going to give away so many free passes that the park fills to capacity. I think Disney knows it's customer bases better than to screw us like that.

What Time Will It Happen?:
Shifts may start as early as 7:30 AM, however, due to the ever changing world of production, we do not have any specific shift times as of this moment.

You will be expected to commit to a 4-hour time slot for each shift. We ask that you stay for the entire time (even during the occasional, brief production breaks). If for some reason you leave the area during the shift, we cannot guarantee or hold your place. Participants are welcome to remain in the Magic Kingdom following the production.

So it sounds like it's being treated kind of like being an extra in a film. These folks are going to be "working," so to speak, for fours out of their day. That's 4 hours that they aren't allowed to be off crowding line queues, restaurants, etc. If they complete their four-hour shift, then they get to enjoy MK for the rest of the day.

I think it's going to be okay, I really do.

Well, it does say "4-hour shifts" plural, so I am assuming there will be multiple different blocks of time that groups of people will have to commit to. Meaning they won't all be running free all at once. That's my interpretation, anyhow.

That sounds ok, just as long as they dont letch on to MVMCP If Den and Ron find anyone without a ticket they are gonna be in need of serious help

Hmm. I assumed it was the 3pm parade that is being taped? Unless you mean on the 3rd/4th, which is when they are supposed to be filimg performances in front of the castle and on Main Street. Then possibly, but I would think not.

I'm starting to think that the parade wont be shown as normal on the 3rd because of all the other stuff going on We havent seen the new version of the parade and was looking forward to this Nothing I can do though, so we'll just make sure we definately see the xmas one in the evening - if they cancel that then i'll definately be speaking to a CM about getting our money back for our MVMCP tickets - why should we pay for things we are not getting and then others are getting things for free

We've got ADR's booked for Crystal Palace and The Plaza - how are we gonna get to these places if the areas are roped off? Are they gonna let us through or do they close the restuarants? I so wish i'd picked another day for MK and the party I don't think we can exchange our MVMCP tickets to another night either can we?

See guys. I'm telling you it will be fine! Even after what Billie mentioned with the different shifts. Clearly Disney is controlling the freeloaders in a way that won't affect the already paying guests. And I highly doubt they want to annoy the guests who bring in the money!

Don't worry JoJo. I'm sure MVMCP will not be ruined because of this. Neither will restaurants be closed. Can you imagine how many people already have ADRs for that night? There might be some minor inconveniences around your ADR time but you won't be forced to skip it all together. Don't worry! You're going to have a wonderful time despite all this

Oh Ty, the Christmas bug has bitten me early too!!! Today we knocked a few gifts off the "to-buy" list and I even found Christmas cards I liked... then we came home and carved pumpkins! Who else can say that?! Tonight I read Madi a story out of her Disney Christmas Stories Collection book. She's amped as well!!!

Absolutely!! It's probably better closer to your departing date since they updated the program with new numbers, etc. I can certainly make one for now, if you want the feel of it.

It does need the ride you want to go on, if you have ADRs/what you plan to eat, what time you think will be your first ride, ending time, fastpass info, etc.

As I mentioned, I don't think they will be allowed past Main Street.This is the taping for the 3pm parade unless they changd the times around. If you want to see the parade, I would stay away from Main Street!!

I love having the Christmas spirit, it used to hit me as early as July, that drove every body nuts. I couldn't wait for Halloween to be over with so I could get my Christmas on.
I remember wrapping presents for Christmas one morning then going on a haunted hayride that night, it was crazy. Madi is at a great age when it comes to Christmas, I miss those days.

Ya know, I don't think I am going to need the ridemax now, I was over reacting to the situation, I am sure it's going to work out just fine. I even think that having a set schedule to follow will probably stress me and my travel mates a little more cause we will feel compelled to follow it. Thank you so much though for offering to do that.
