I told Randy that morning that he had free reign when it came to picture taking but that my one request was to somehow get a shot of us on the catwalk at the California Grill with the MK castle in the background. Since we had to cancel our MK shoot this was the closest we were going to get at this point. Here are a few of my favorite shots...
Here is Stan interviewing us for the end of his Sneak Peek video
When we came inside from the pictures it was time for Randy and Stan to leave. Thank goodness I said that I would seeing him later that night because he kind of looked at me funny and asked why??? Appartently he hadn't written down that part of his day included coming back for that nights dessert party at Sago Cay. He said he already had a commitment for something to do with the MK parade, which happened to be taping that weekend. This was my face
. He left the room and called his wife. Thank goodness it turned out that his other obligation was the next night and that he had written down somewhere that we wanted him for the dessert party and he was able to come back that night. This was really the only freak out moment for me the whole day. Even though externally I remained completely calm, internally I was turning to mush.
We paid for Vendor meals for Randy and Stan but beforehand I made sure with Tanis that they were decent meals. I had heard that sometimes the meals are not good. She said the California Grill always gives good meals. So they actually got the same main entrée that we got and I was so relieved and happy.
We opted for a plated meal which consisted of the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli, the best to die for dish EVER!!! We then had the chicken with sweet potato hash for the entree, and then the Chevre Cheesecake for dessert...also amazingly good. I have no pictures of this because Randy left and none of my family are obsessive about Disney like me and take photos of their food! Who are these people??
We were all so full and it was getting time for us to leave. If we didn't leave by four we would have to pay something like $2000 or $3000 extra. We all decided to have the cake individually put in to go containers for our guests and they were able to enjoy the cake at their leisure. I heard back from most that they LOVED the cake!!!! I agree completely...I want that Lemon with Cream cheese frosting again and again and again!
Earlier Tanis told me that due to the cold weather our main dessert portion of our dessert party would be moved into the Whitehall room and start about 30 mins earlier. We would then head over to Sago Cay for the fireworks part. Tanis instructed our guests how to get to the Whitehall room. Tanis them packed up all of our goodies in our original bucket that we dropped off at Franck's. We said see ya real soon, lol, to our guests and headed back to OKW in our car....I really missed that limo!
When we got to OKW we were both so exhausted but also still in that surreal, omg we just got married, on cloud nine mode.
I remember immediately taking off my dress, veil, shoes and bustier. I wanted to feel a little bit more comfortable after wearing that get up all day. My mom Brian's Mom and cousin and children followed us over to pick up some of their stuff that they left there from that morning.
My Mom was dropping off Brian's mom at her resort then were headed back to their resort to rest and change. Brian and I were keeping our wedding clothes on for the Dessert party but we told our guests to dress comfortable and warm.
They finally all left and we had about an hour or two to relax. I had only eaten a tiny bit during the reception because I was just to giddy to eat. I devoured the Ravioli though, lol. I think that I made us both some eggs. We had a full kitchen at OKW and had some food. We ate that then it was already time to get ready again to head over to the GF.
I will post about the Dessert Party very soon....I promise!!!
I must upload some pics to Photobucket though and we all know that takes forever sometimes.
