Day 5 of our trip happened on Thursday, December 2nd. It's finally the day before the wedding!!!!!
My nerves were everywhere, from excited, to nervous, to worried to elated....I was a mess.
Backtracking a little, I never mentioned that I had gotten sick starting the day before Thanksgiving. I came home from the salon and it just hit me. I had this feeling of dread because NO bride wants to be sick on their wedding day

. I thought that I would see how it goes, lol, and went on with cooking Thanksgiving dinner the next day, still not feeling well, and by Friday I had a fever, swollen neck glands, nasal congestion, and a very sore throat

. We went to the Dr. and they loaded me up with antibiotics (after me telling them that I just couldn't be sick on my wedding day) and I slowly got better as the first few days of our trip went on.
Back on topic, when I woke up on Thursday morning I just felt awful. I never get backaches and I had one all night and still had one that morning, plus I felt nauseous.
This was supposed to be the day that we took our mom's to the MK. My mom had already backed out since she was checking into her resort later that day (she lives local). DH decided to still go with his mom to the MK. She hadn't been in at least 20 years so she was excited to go.
I kissed him goodbye and planted myself on the living room couch with a pillow and blanket. I started to watch TV but Disney has the worst channels!!! I fell asleep for who knows how long, I also ate my cake from the night before (Rose & Crown)....it was very good!!!
DH called in the afternoon telling me I was lucky to have not gone because MK was a nightmare. For one, they started filming the Christmas parade a day early and today was the first day of filming so Main Street was a zoo. Then they ate lunch and his mom got really sick. He said they ended up taking almost 2 hours to get from Fantasyland back to the front of the park to exit
I continued to rest and then received a phone call from my Dad. He had driven in the night before, he lives in Pensacola FL, and wanted to come and see me before the wedding the next day. I rarely get to see my dad, I mean maybe once every few years, sometimes longer. I tried to give him directions to our resort, but he hadn't been on Disney property since the early 80's! I had him ask his resort, lol. He finally got to the gate of OKW, called me again and I talked him back through the maze to our building. We talked for awhile and he gave me our wedding gift....money (my favorite kind of gift)
DH finally got back from his MK ordeal. He was exhausted and said if he had been able to fortell what the day would have been like he would have stayed home with me!

This was the first time he was able to meet my Dad. They got to know each other for a little while and my dad said we were the perfect couple. That's nice to hear sometimes.
It was eventually time for my dad to leave because Brian and I had booked a special dinner for 2 at Flying Fish as our last night before the wedding meal.
We got ready and headed over to the boardwalk. We went straight to Flying Fish and they seated us at a table for 2 right away. We had the best server (Tracy

) She was so nice and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding the next day. She was so excited to know our wedding would be on property. She came back and brought us free Champagne to start our meal. It was our first acknowledgment of our wedding from any restaurant we had been to on this trip and was very appreciated!!! I finally ordered a cheese plate!!!!! I have always wanted to do this but never wanted to spend the extra money. Since this was our "special" before the wedding dinner we decided to splurge and get what we wanted. It was so good!!! I then ordered some kind of fish, lol, since we were at a seafood restaurant!!

In the middle of our meal the manager, Kevin, came over to congratulate us and thank us for picking their restaurant for such a special occasion. He was so great and friendly and made us feel special. Later when it was time for dessert we were both so full we said that we probably would not order any. Our server, Tracy, said that we should look at the menu anyway. While we were doing that, Kevin came back and gave us complimentary dessert wine, omg....so good, I think it was Ice Wine!!! Yummy.....then Tracy came back with this
Awwww......we were so overwhelmed with their hospitality that night!!!! You can also see our Ice Wine in the shot. I highly recommend them and really want to go back for their special Chef's Counter meal.
We then went back out onto the Boardwalk and this is when we went inside and looked at the Gingerbread Gazebo, Ooops! I originally posted that we did this the night before. Here is the one good shot I took using my phone
We spent forever looking for those elusive hidden mickey's. We were not alone either. There were a few other couples doing the same thing, lol. We only found 13 of 14!
We then dragged ourselves back to OKW and fell into bed. We were so tired!!! Plus, tomorrow was going to be the BIG day!!!! The wedding day....

My trip report for the wedding I want to save for when I get the Professional pics back

but I will keep updating with things that I didn't include like our invitations, programs, newsletter, pics of inside the cake that we are still eating from, lol, and some of our personal touches like the personalized M&M's.
I'm off tomorrow for another drive down to Florida. This time to work, not for fun....but I will try and throw a little fun in there somehow. The fun being going to the parks!!!!

Also on the 4th I will be waving the Dream into port.....seriously cannot wait for this!
