Debating between Florida resident ticket or annual pass

I have a couple questions about tickets and which one I should buy.

We are going in November for 4 days, original plan was to get the Florida resident ticket. I see right now there is a discovery pass deal, it’s $235 but only goes until September 28. Do they release a different deal for the rest of the year? And if so is it more money typically?

I also see a discounted Florida resident ticket I could buy now for my November dates, it’s $353 for 4 days. Will this be the only option for November? I haven’t followed these type of tickets in a long time I’ve had an annual pass for the last 6 years. I know the holiday time is busier so I’m not sure if they have a new deal come out?

The last option I’m considering is the pixie pass, which is $439. We’ve never gotten this one before because it’s weekday only, but our dates are only on the weekdays at the moment. Reason I’m considering this now is we just booked a week trip in February to stay at the new Poly Tower. If we don’t get the annual pass this will just be a resort only trip and if we do then the total days for going into the park would be 8 days. We will probably go again, but we might not so I don’t want additional days to come into calculating.

Do they have another Florida resident deal in February? Would two of those type of deals be cheaper than the annual pass if we ended up doing that? Math is not my forte lol. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I also checked the pixie is not blacked out any of our days and park reservations are available for everything currently.

If you are going weekdays during your November trip and the Pixie pass will cover the 4 days, then I think it's totally worth it to get the pixie pass for just $86 more. Wasn't sure if the $353 ticket included hopping, if not the pixie pass will pay for itself in the ability to hop.

It would be tough to look at the castle from Poly Towers in February, knowing what's on the other side. I've done plenty of resort only trips, but it's nice to be able to just pop into the Magic Kingdom for a parade or the fireworks, or quick morning Tianna/Tron VQ. The single day ticket for Magic Kingdom is between $179-189 just for the 1 day, no hopping. As long as you think you will be able to use it during your Poly stay, because the block out will be weekends plus president's day.

You can also just buy the $353 ticket, then upgrade to the pixie pass anytime before leaving the park on the last day of of use. As long as you have not left the park, the ticket is still valid and you can apply the whole amount to the Pixie pass.

Ya that price didn’t include hopping. I’m not sure we would since we’ll have two little kids. Another thing I didn’t think about is the memory maker which is $185 for a regular ticket but $99 for annual pass. We’d be going February 11-14 it looks like those aren’t blacked out. The regular ticket slightly discounts for our 3 year old but doesn’t on an annual pass

I would also recommend the Pixie Pass, since you have researched to make sure it covers your days. There are no guarantees that any special Florida Resident ticket offers will be available for your dates, and you can even pay for the Pixie Pass in monthly installments if you want to keep your immediate costs down. You would also get the AP perks, like discounts on food and merchandise, that you wouldn’t with a standard Florida Resident ticket. Between hopping and discounts, that $86 dollar difference would be covered in no time, and you would have the option to go in the parks on the second trip even though you hadn’t originally planned for that to be a park trip.

I don't have an answer to your ticket questions as far as what might be offered for FL residents. I used to have the Sorcerer's Pass, but changed to the Pixie Pass this year. I plan around the weekend restrictions. It hasn't been difficult for me to do. If I'm at Disney on a weekend, I do resort time and/or Disney Springs.
