I've seen some reviews where people Rave about "Get A Horse" the Disney Short before Frozen and articles like this (posting below) that call it a disgrace:

Honestly, I thought it was fantastic and have had a discussion is it the "Greatest Disney Short."

Both Kelly and I thought it was a great Disney short. It was a wonderful surprise for us.

I enjoyed both the short and "Frozen." I've listened to the "Frozen" soundtrack several times since and it's grown on me even more.

You just can't please everyone.

Both of my kids (DS5 and DD4) enjoyed Frozen, but if you ask them, the short was their favorite part of the movie!

Loved the short! I can't understand why someone wouldn't. :confused3But you know that for some... water is never wet enough.

I saw it and loved it! Everybody said you NEED to see it in 3D...well, I am not a fan of 3D, so I saw it in 2D...and to me, that made the short even that much more impressive. If you saw it in 3D, the effects are exactly what you would expect. BUT...if you saw it in 2D, I was blown away at how much it looked like it was in full 3D...the technology was amazing. It was much more impressive to see it in 2D.

My nieces (14 and 6.5) and I enjoyed the short. We had wished we had paid for the 3D upgrade at that point.

Cheers!

I saw it in 3D and absolutely loved it! I'm in the camp with the people who think it's the best Disney short yet. The animation (CGI) was amazing. Usually (lately anyway) I end up wishing they'd tried a little harder (including Pixar) but I kept thinking how much work must have gone into it. It was a nice nod to Walt Disney as well, I thought.

I hope it wins some nice awards!

We loved it. My three year old son has talked about that more than Frozen. He keeps asking, "Remember when Mickey came out of the movie?!"

Everyone's a critic. The short was awesome as was the whole movie! Olaf has since come home with us from the Disney store and, we're all quoting the movie on a regular basis. People just aren't happy sometimes unless they can complain about something.

Loved the short! It was nice seeing the blend of old animation and new animation. Also great hearing Walt's voice. :thumbsup2

My sister, mother, and I all went to see Frozen a few days after the release. We all thought the short was cute and a great way to bring Mickey and Minnie along for the fun that night. If only there were more shorts like that on TV!

As for Frozen, we're in love. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, the entire cast was amazing in all the right ways. :thumbsup2

We all loved both the short and "Frozen". Both made us want to see the movie again!

You can add me to the long list of people who loved it. It was my husband's favorite part of the move (and he really thought Frozen was amazing too, so that shows how much he loved the short). My kids laughed through the whole thing. It was a great surprise.
