It would be really helpful if you'd post online the 2013 rates. It's not just that I am impatient to book so I can look forward to my upcoming vacation officially, it's also that my husband and I are hotly debating about where to stay.
Once we book this trip, the debates can end and we can just go about our mouse-obsessed lives getting pumped about our next trip. I'm pretty sure wherever we stay we will be excited about and have a great time, but I am getting concerned that I'm overlooking/over-valuing/undervaluing certain aspects of all the hotels we are considering.
AKL: Loved the ambiance, loved all there was to do there, THE nicest place I have ever stayed. Savannah view was terrific & we enjoyed the restaurants there. The only downside is that there's a bus ride everywhere. Not a huge minus for us, but I've never stayed anywhere that enabled you to walk to a park. So I don't know what I am missing...
Boardwalk: The prospect of staying in walking distance to two parks is enticing but it's themed like the shore town that is a little over an hour from me- I'm worried it won't feel as grand/"destination in and of itself" to us... And I was petrified of clowns as a child and I saw the pool.
But it's somewhere we've never stayed before, and I felt like we didn't spend as much time at DHS as I'd like at our 2012 trip. And the kids did love epcot and most of our dinners that we would repeat are at Epcot.
BLT: Again, am I undervaluing staying in walking distance to the park we'd use the most? It seems nice, but not "destination in and of itself" like AKL, although I hear nothing but great things about the place/convenience/views.
Bottom line? We're obsessed with the mouse.
