I railed about this when they launched the "new site" five plus years ago. They apparently don't know how to test their own work, as it just outright didn't work in any other browser other than the latest version of Chrome at the time.
I'm in charge of a website development for a very large company. Before we can launch, our QC department has a suite of tests to run on various browsers, some of them quite old. Each year, we take the statistics of browsers used on our site to determine what browsers will need to be supported in our testing in the coming year. We finally reached a point where we could retire the old iphone 4, which ran an early Safari browser, in 2020, 11 years after Apple discontinued manufacture of it, and 6 years after even Apple declared it obsolete. We still support the iphone 8 and some early ipads, plus old versions of Android, and super old versions of Chrome and Internet Explorer, because our large corporate and small business customers continue to use them. But, of course, we have our own programmers who are very experienced and understand that their code will be subjected to tests and sent back if it needs remediation, unlike Disney, who seems enamored with turning over projects to teams of off shore programmers of questionable skill and experience, whose sole motivation is to produce something fast to get a gold star next to their name on the board.
