Deals on netbook computers?

My DD, age 8, has asked for a netbook for Christmas. Any great deal out there? I have seen the $79.00 one at Toys R US on Black Friday, but it only had 128MB memory. If I am going to spend the money, I would rather get something really worth the money---but still looking for a deal! (at least 1Gb memory)....Thanks in advance to all of you deal hunters out there!!

My BIL suggested a Lenovo Ideapad S10-3 for my DD.

I couldn't get any of the good netbook deals (on that or any of the other netbooks) last week, so ended up with a 15.6" laptop with better specs for less money (but bigger / heavier).

If your DD can tolerate the bigger size, it seems like there are better deals on the smaller laptops than on the netbooks.

HP makes a G series laptop for $350.00 that is very nice for students. Best Buy often carries it.

Big Lots had a refurb LT2016u the other day for 177.00. That was a special but if they still have them they should be cheap.
