deals near Thanksgiving Nov 09?

Hi, I just booked a package for Nov 21 - Nov 28, WL. I already figure that there won't be any deals those "holiday" days, but did anyone go this past year around the same time and have a deal on anything over that week? Room? Dining? I received a 40% mailer last year, but the dates available didn't include the weekend before Thanksgiving week... Just wondered what others have had when they visited during this time. Thanks!

Hello fellow Marylander!! Are you Howard County and wanting to take advantage of the long break the kids have that week! We have never gone during that time because we find the week before is amazing with crowds. I do believe I hear that people got deals during Thanksgiving. Do you still have that 40% off deal. I would always call and try to apply it. It can't hurt and sometimes the pixie dust falls on you and you get a great CM! Good Luck.

HI -- no we are a MOCo. family. We were going to play "sick" a few days
HOWEVER, if you can believe it, my DH said what about the week school gets out and I said not a chance with 4/7 deal, and then we looked and voila it was there for WL -- could not believe it. So DH and one of my boys will have Bday actually at DW this year. Kinda fun. Of course I am still holding out for Thanksgiving ... You never know! We have always been in the fall, never any other time. So this will be new. Looking forward to the waterparks!

I believe Disney Visa free dining was offered if you started your trip by Nov 21st or 22nd last year, maybe Nov 9th - Nov 21st or 22nd was the full offer for November. I know I read there were poeple on the board who had free dining that extended to include Thanksgiving. This was the first time FD was offerend in Nov. Don't know if if will be offered again. You can see any other discounts offered for that time period on mousesavers historical discounts chart. Good Luck.

Thanks for the tip! I will keep my eyes open for it - we have the Disney Visa so that would be a great time for the free DDP perk. We'll see if I can get him to bite a deal after our June trip!

we were there this nov 9-19 and jumped in on free dining, crowds were not bad and we had a blast at Movies.
