Does anyone know why Rick Quashnick (sp?) handed over Captain duties to Blake? Isn't he the one that had his wife on board and she did all the cooking? What's up with them now?? Anyone know??

Blake took over as captain for the king crab season. But I believe Rick will be back for Opies.

Rick and Donna have opened a seafood supply store in Oregon, I believe in Astoria. Rick is doing alot of salmon and halibut fishing. They will be back on the Maverick later in the season.

I posted during last year's season how much I love hearing Mike Rowe's voice...if they replaced him, I don't think the show would be nearly as good.

I think I read that he writes some of what he narrates also.

Rick and Donna have opened a seafood supply store in Oregon, I believe in Astoria. Rick is doing alot of salmon and halibut fishing. They will be back on the Maverick later in the season.

Okay, maybe she's not stupid, but shopping with her recipes? Bleached blond hair and shoes? She looked like she was more comfortable in a hair saloon then in a galley.

I thought it was funny when they are all shopping like bats outta hell and she's in there with her stinkin' list! Does anyone predict a food shortage? I did think her accent was cool though!

I got hooked on this show the year before last and LOVE it...I got DH hooked last year and the kids have been watching the reruns with me this year! I am mesmerized by the awesome strength and power of the water...love these guys!
