First off, thank you to all of you who post here; you make the task of planning enjoyable!

In November my family (DH, DD (7), DD (5) and me) will be visiting MK for one day before we board the Disney Wonder. We’ll be staying at POP for two nights and decided on the DDP just for convenience.

We made plans to eat dinner at the 1900 Park Fare character dinner the night we arrive. At breakfast, we’ll use CS credits at POP so that we can get an early start and then spend the entire day at MK. Here are my questions:

Where do you suggest that we spend those last CS and TS credits? Or should we not do the DDP so that we don’t feel obligated to spend time at a restaurant when we could be enjoying the park? We thought doing the DDP saved a bit of money on the character dinner, perhaps I’m wrong?

Here are your credits for two nights:

2-TS, 2-CS and 2-Snacks per person

TS1 - Dinner at 1900 PF
TS2 - Lunch at Crystal Palace

CS1 - Breakfast at POP
CS2 - Dinner in MK

I suggest lunch over dinner as the AC and meal break will likely be necessary with the little ones and good for you as well. We did an early AM in MK the over to Epcot for Lunch one day, best plan we could have made. We were starved and really appreciated the AC break. Also CP is another charcater meal and the food there seems to get the most consistent good reveiws of all the MK TS places, except the Plaza, but the Plaza meal probably isn't enough given you'll only have 2 TS credits for your stay.

Don't be afraid to share and stretch those CS meals either. There is a HUGE breakfast platter available that you can likely share. That and a kids bfast meal might be enough to feed everyone and you'd still have a CS meal left in case you need an extra meal in the park or late night munchies. For example you could get a sandwich, homemade chocolate chip ice cream sandwich and bottled drink for a CS at credit at Main Street bakery and nibble on that during Wishes, just because you saved that CS credit. The DP gives you lots of options. Just don't be afraid to share to stretch and give you a chance to try more things. You could also use the CS credit to get two bottled drinks and a third item, but have a CS at the store tell you your exact options as they may vary.

Sounds like a magical trip; your kids are really lucky!
