My co-worker is using my points(MS) to stay at OKW for 3 nights( 2bdrm) and then moving to BC(not bcv) for 3 nights on a cash(CRO) basis.

Since each ressie is seperate my assumption is that he can choose the DDP while at the BC on cash, but opt out of the DDP while at OKW on points...yes or no ??

yes

do the deluxe you can stretch it well that way

You can not "stretch" any DDP beyond the check-out date of the DDP reservation.

For instance, on a split stay of 3 nights at OKW and 3 nights at BC, you could not get the Deluxe Plan for the OKW portion of the stay, and continue to use those credits for the length of your BC stay. The credits would expire at 11:59pm on the day you switch resorts.

But for the OP, yes, for split stays, you can have the DDP for any particular room reservation during the stay. However, if they are doing the BC cash reservation as the second half of the stay, they will need to comply with the cash requirements for DDP, including buying at least a one park ticket as part of that cash package.

sorry you misunderstood what i meant.

I simply meant with creativeness you can save your extra snacks and desserts to eat during the days you dont have DDP. Like for breakfasts using muffins or fruits etc.. or extra waters or sodays for during that time

because you get 3 good for any type credits a day you can have at least 2 on your check out day of the DDP part

people complain that DxDDP can be a lot of food, BUT in the case of a split stay it can be a very useful tool when used wisely. you get to enjoy TS or whatever type meals you enjoy the most and you can fill in some days you arent on the plan with some other food you didnt have to cook or bring from home

We have a split stay coming up. Be aware that in order to add DDP to a cash reservation, you have to purchase at least 1 day park tickets. Plus, if we wanted to have DDP for all 9 days, we would have had to add it on two separate reservations. Therefore, we would have had 10 souvenier mugs for our drinks (there are 5 of us)! Because of the red tape, I opted out

All of the snacks have to be purchased by 11:59 PM on the checkout day as well. I like the idea of getting the DxDDP on the first segment of your stay as pickles posted. And since you are staying in a villa you can take left overs "home" for later. It's nice having a refrigerator and microwave even in the studios. We bring disposable plastic bowls with tops and some ziplock bags just for the leftovers. Ziplocks bags help keep the muffins or cookies fresher.

yes everything expires then, BUT many food are packaged in a way as you have described where you can use them later during the 2nd part of your stay, with fridge use or heat in microwave etc..
