Forgive me I cannot remember but we last went in 08! In CS and Snacks you can tell that the particular food item is part of the DDP if there is that little sign DDP next to it? Or not? I feel like a moron I don't remember.:rolleyes1

Well-that proves I am a moron! Anybody out there who can answer this stupid question?

You are remembering correctly. There is a little symbol next to snack items on counter service menus. You'll also see it in gift shops and carts that sell items that can be used as snacks.

Yes look for the little purple DDP that denotes a snack. I found the CM to be extremly helpful so if you aren't sure just ask. The worse thing they can say is no. I just identified myself as a DDP newbie and they were VERY helpful! Enjoy your trip and food!:thumbsup2

At CS and Snack Carts the purple and white DDP logo identifies only the items that can be purchased with a snack credit.

At CS and some carts (e.g. turkey leg carts) your CS meal includes an entree or combo dish, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. I believe all of the CS venues in the parks and Disney resorts participate in the dining plan and none of them exclude any of their entrees.

I think this is where my confusion came from. So if I see the logo next to a cheese danish it is a snack. If I see a hot dog listed on the menu sign right under the cheese danish and it has no logo than it is probably considered a CS meal?

Am I making any sense to this question? I have seen a bunch of photos of menus on carts or kiosks in all the parks - some of the items have the logo and some don't.
I have been trying to figure out is it the price? Or are the other items OOP? or the other items considered a CS meal? I don't mean wine- I mean hot dogs, egg rolls, stuff like that.
