DDP question

Ok so we are doing a split stay. Will be spending 5 nights at OKW and 2 nights at GF.


This is my current ADR's

July 30th Planet Hollywood 5:30pm
July 31st-none(going to Universal)
Aug 1st- 50's Prime Time 5:25pm
Aug 2nd- Yak and Yeti 6:15pm
Aug 3rd- Le Cellier 12:20 pm
Aug 4th- CRT 6:45pm (Day we move to GF for our anniversary)
Aug 5th- The Crystal Palace 4:55pm
Aug 6th- check out

Will I be able to use one TS credit from paying for dining plan at OKW and one from GF or not? Hope this makes sense. We have regular dining plan.

The short answer. No. You cannot mix credits from different resort reservations for a single meal.

The longer answer. Sorta. If you have 2 credits left on the OKW reservation, you CAN use those 2 credits to pay for 1 person, and then use 2 credits from the GF reservation to pay for the other. This only works with even number matching guests (e.g. 2 Adults, 2 Children).

This works because credits are pooled per room and not tied to an individual. So when you check into OKW, the room will have 10 credits, spending 4 credits each will burn off 8 of those, leaving you with 2 left on the room. Same deal, but in the opposite happens on the other side of the reservation.

Note that recently, the system has been buggy when it comes to DDP left over credits on check-out days and they've been "expiring" at check-out time rather than midnight after the checkout. This is not the way it works and before dining it may behoove you to pop on by Guest Relations and make sure the remaining credits are still active (and get them fixed if they are not).

Thanks for your help. Since I have already booked CRT before I had DDP think I will just pay OOP for that one and use the other credits elsewhere.
