Can you get desserts to go at table service meals? We are not big meal eaters but would love the sweet dessert for snack later.

yes you can request a box for dessert (not allowed at buffets, though)...but order your dessert carefully! Many, many of the desserts are very perishable and/or dairy and will not keep for long, or travel well if you're going back to the parks (think desserts like cheesecakes, creme brulees, mousse that are so prevalent at the restaurants.) Many desserts that would travel well are usually served with ice cream (like a pie ala mode, or blueberry crumble with vanilla bean ice cream) so if you order one of those, make sure to tell them no ice cream or whipped topping. Do remember that most places may have a fresh fruit option that would be allowed for dessert if you're not much for sweets...can't hurt to ask.

I use the DxDDP alot, so due to the amount of food frequently get my desserts to go, for breakfast the next morning. The only place I had just a little trouble was at California Grill. The waiter said that they had a chocolate cake that is not listed on the menu. that they usually used for people who asked for their desserts to go, because none of their regular desserts travel well. I didn't want chocolate cake, so he let me get their cheese plate to go. Once at Flying Fish I wanted the chocolate trio to go and the waiter said he could box two of the items, but the chocolate creme brulee I had to eat there. He also offered the cheese plate to go as an option.
