DDP plus cash at the same meal?

Can some of the people in your family use DDP and others pay cash/credit on the same bill?

For example if DH and I want to use 2 TS and go to Cali Grill w/out the kids, can we all eat another TS where only the kids use their credits and we pay on the same check?

I believe that the DDP meals will be on one check and the cash meals will be given to you on another check with the 18% tip already placed on both bills.
