DDP, paying OOP and CC on room key

If I have a CC on my room key and I am on the DxDP, if I want to pay for a CS meal OOP, will the cashier be able to distinguish charging to my CC on my room key from taking a dining plan point? We are eating way too many 2 credit meals, so we need to pay for some meals out of pocket. Breakfast or lunch is the most cost-effective. Do I need to bring cash or another credit card to pay OOP to make sure they don't take it off of the dining plan? Do counter service restaurants even take plastic?

Are you sure on the deluxe plan would you need to pay oop for anything? You will have more than enough food per day. Plus 2 snacks per person, per day. I am the biggest eater this side of the world. I swear, I am a lady who can eat more than most men. With that, even I would not need more food. Plus, you are paying extra for the deluxe, why should you pay oop more?

Looking back, to the ddp last year with the inclusion of the appetizer, having a cs lunch, and dinner, and desserts. Left me fully stuffed, and satisfied per day. Since you get what is included in the 07 plan food wise. Plus, an extra meal, and 2 snacks.

Maybe eat one day 2 times, at 1ts meals, say breakfast, at Boma, dinner, at Leciellier' and use the other entitlement for the cs lunch.

However, if you have to have it. They will have no problem charging it. If there was an issue, you can get it fixed.

Yes, just tell the cashier you want to charge it back to your room. Also, make sure that you check your receipt. There have been issues with cashiers taking DDP credits instead of charging it. Have it fixed right there, don't wait or you might forget.

For now, we do plan on eating 3 meals per day. If we don't use snack credits, that's fine with us. We're not really keen on having a pastry for breakfast or loaded fries or natchos for lunch, either. I think we have 8 signature dining meals planned, so there are 8 meals that we don't have credits to use. None of us really function without a proper breakfast, even if that means cereal, fruit, and juice.

Also, just because we get an appetizer, entree, and dessert doesn't mean that we have to eat everything on our plates.

That said, thanks for the info about charging meals to the room. I'll be sure to check our receipt if we do.
