DDP pay in advance?

I am pretty sure we have to pay in advance for the DDP, but how far out do I need to have that purchased? our check in date is Jan 10

You can only purchase the DDP as part of a package so it needs to be paid off when your package needs to be paid off which is 30 days prior to check in.
If you are adding the DDP to your package after the 30 day mark it would need to be paid immediately.

It's due with final package payment at 30 days out. If you add it after that point, you pay when you add it - the change fee will likely be waived if you're outside 14 days since you're upgrading to more expensive.

I'm pretty sure the drop-dead date to add is 3 days before arrival.

For DVC, I think it's pay when you add the plan, up to 48 hours before arrival.

But don't hold me to that.
