DDP & Food and Wine Festival?

DH and I are thinking about going to WDW for the Food & Wine Fest this year. Last year when we went to WDW we got the DDP and loved it. So, initially my plan was to get it again, but after thinking about it, I'm concerned that we may not use all of it since we would be sampling so many of the dishes available during the fest. So, opinions and suggestions please: is it worth it to get the DDP or should we not bother?

I'm wondering about this too. We're currently signed up for the dining plan (it'll be the first time we've tried it). I'm thinking from the post above about using snack credits for F&W items that we'll be able to get a lot of use out of the plan. I also figure we won't be heading over to Epcot for every meal, so we'll still use it a lot.

I still need to figure out how the F&WF works exactly!

my BF and I went during the F&WF and did "dinner" one night snacking around the festival using snack credits. It worked great for us and we still used all of our TS credits. CS on the other hand, not so much

I used a few snack credits last year during the Food & Wine Festival for the samples. You can't get the alcohol items but everything else was fair game.

You can use your snack credits at the food booths. Most people visit other parks besides Epcot; so, you can use your TS and CS credits at other parks.
If you have extra TS credits then opt for some 2 credit restaurants and enjoy the better places and you should be able to use up your CS credits that way; because, you'll have half the TS credits.

If you stay for long days and nights at the parks we never have problems using our credits. We have had the dining plan for the last two years with the Food and Wine Fest and we always use up all our credits.
