Hi I am hoping that someone will be able to answer this question for me. We have a Grand Villa booked, and there will be 3 families staying together. We all want to do the DDP, but I am wondering if all the meal credits will be grouped together or if there is some way for the credits to be separated by family. I think that it could get confusing if my room key had everyone's credits on it!
We plan on having our TS meals together, but I could see problems coming up in regards to snacks etc since my sister is a family of 6, we are a family of 4, and my parents are 2.

All of the credits are pooled and every KTTW card will have access to all of them.

This makes me remember the post about the Uncle who didn't understand the DDP thinking that all of the credits were his. He used up most of the pooled TS credits getting free food delivered to his room. :cloud9:

The OP didn't find out about it until they tried to use the TS credits after a meal and the TS credits were gone. :scared1:

OHH this is a great question! We are hoping to book a 2BR with another family, and would we ALL have to do the DDP? And I like to use my KTTW as a charge, could the other family put a different credit card on their KTTWs so we don't have to worry about shared costs?

This feature was announced some time ago as part of a future upgrade...but I don't think it is possible at this time.

What you can do is get a prinout from the front desk the night before check-out. Each card has an idetifing sub-number. Just add up all the charges from each subcard, and everyone can then pay their share at the front desk.

We went with friends we both had 4 to each family, both 2 adults, and 2 kids. I explained the plan to my friend before we left and it was actually the counter meals that I thought they might get confused, both of us sharing a lunch with our own little one at times. We both had a sharpie marker so we just drew a line on the back of the moms' room key (top for snacks) (a line at the bottom for snacks) We already knew each others table meals and knew neither had no more credits that woud be left so if you ate at another (which they did) you needed to pay out of pocket. No problems for us. And Hey they just signed up to go again the same time as us this year, but now they have one bedroomitis. He he he

The CM at OKW on Dec 2, while we checked into the 2 bedroom with extended family, told us that he could do it right then. We declined, but he did say it was, at that moment, something they could do.

OP, head over to the dis-igns forum (if you use the dropdown for the different parts of the dis, it's near the bottom of the list) and find a dining plan tally sheet. It's a good way to help everyone keep track of what they get to use.
