DDP Credits to be Shared with non DDP person?

Hi,

My family is travelling together this summer and our family of four will have the DDP. My mother will be joining us for a meal at a non buffet restaurant one night and I'm wondering if we can share a meal with her? She doesn't eat much and I know that we will have more than enough food for her to share with us. Is this typically allowed? I know for the buffets, we will definitely have her purchase OOP but just wondering when she comes with us to a regular restaurant if she isn't hungry, can she just share off of of our meals? (like split a pizza at Via Napoli)?

Unfortunately, Via Napoli is the ONE place that will not let your share your DDP meal with someone not purchasing their own meal. Anywhere else on property would have no problem with you doing what you want, but VN won't allow it.

You could also use some of your Disney dining points to buy her a meal if you wanted to

Unfortunately, Via Napoli is the ONE place that will not let your share your DDP meal with someone not purchasing their own meal. Anywhere else on property would have no problem with you doing what you want, but VN won't allow it.

Can you use a dining option at Via Napoli for family member? Not share a meal but use one of your dining allowances. Thanks

You can use a dining plan meal point for someone not covered by the DDP anywhere that accepts DDP as far as I know, which includes Via Napoli
