DDP-Credit Question

Hello all! I am new here and have a question so if this is in the wrong thread or there is already a thread that answers my question then please just let me know. So here is my question. My boyfriend and I will be going to WDW in May 2014 (a ways away I know- but I love to plan). Last time I went to WDW was a few years ago so all the DDP rules are not fresh in my mind. We will be doing the standard plan (1TS, 1CS, and 1 Snack). So how does it work if we use part of the DDP for a meal and pay OOP for some. (ie. adult drink at TS dinner). Do we just let them know that everything that doesn't correspond with the DDP we will pay for out of pocket? Thank you!

you will receive 2 bills at the end of your meal. One will include everything covered by the dining plan. Anything that is not covered by the dining plan, such as adult beverages, will be on a separate bill and you will pay for them OOP.
