DDP: Can I use DDE for wine, overage?

If I am on the Disney Dining Plan (the paid version), I will still have some charges from wine and so forth. Can I use my DDE card for a 20 percent discount on these charges? Thanks.

p.s. I'm sure this has been answered, but the little hound dog doesn't do a very good job of searching things out for me.

Yes you can as long as you're at a place that accepts DDE of course.

I booked Bounceback a couple weeks ago while I was there. CM offered me to upgrade to the Deluxe for the difference in price - I did not. Then she offered me a Wine add-on option. I believe she said one bottle of wine per TS for a set add on amount. I did not ask as it would be only me drinking......and well it would be too much You may want to inquire about it to see if it is a good value for you.

I believe the wine package is a new package being offered in 2008.
