Not sure if CS meals can be substituted for TS meals. A few years ago we were able to. Can this still be done?

I am not sure if you can use your TS credits to purchase a CS meal anymore. I have read about some success with it, but haven't tried it personally.

I can say that if you would need to do it a lot, you're may be better off paying OOP vs doing the DDP this year. It's generally that close on savings.

You can if you are on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. The CS and TS are interchangable on that plan. You get 3 meals per day and 2 snacks per day. :upsidedow

It was permitted/possible during the 2006 and 2007 Free Dining Promotion periods - due to SO many Guests having the Dining Plan but not being able to get into any Table Service restaurants.

Otherwise, officially no - but it may be at the discretion of the Resort Manager (i.e. it's likely impossible at an in-park location).

I did it in 2007 at Pop. You just told the the cashier to ring it up as a TS and she gave you a coupon good for 2 snacks but you could only use them at Pop.
