DDP but dont want to check in at resort.

We usually stay dvc and the ddp doesnt show up on MDE anyway. This trip we are staying at a value resort and have the Dxddp. I do not want to have to drive over to AsSports and physically check in but we will need our credits right away for breakfast snacks. I know our credits are supposed to show up on MDE but can someone tell me what time of day and how reliable this really is? lol, sorry I sound so sceptical, I'm the guest that never gets the room ready text so Im not convinced yet.

If you do online check-in with an arrival time that's before park opening, they should be there. But you know if they aren't to just charge anything you get back to the room (that will be working) and fix it later when you get to the resort. I haven't seen ANY recent reports where the credits aren't available to use. It was somewhat common back in the beginning of MBs, but in the last six months to a year, I've not seen anyone coming back to complain about it.

Do the online check-in. No guarantee it will work but you can clear it all up at the resort later.

Thanks. I'm really hoping to avoid straightening it out at the resort since it will be late nights with very early wake up times. Thanks for the tip to do an early check in time though. I'll try that.

We do this every year. Online check in, DME to resort...into the park without going to the room. It's never ready anyway. We use credits before heading back.

Are you sure DVCers don’t have to physically checkin to get their dining credits? I thought I had read on the DVC boards that they had to go to the desk to activate. And, since dining credits don't show up on MDE for DVC reservations, you can't verify there either.

But she is not staying DVC. She is at a Value. DVC is irrelevant here. She is just used to being DVC rather than this.
