DDP- Breakfast at TS restaurant- What do you get as your "dessert"?

Just wondering, if we are on the DP,and go to Kona for breakfast, Do you get to choose anything additional off the menu since there is no dessert? I never thought about this before.

PS- i know that breakfast is not a good use of a TS meal, I was just wondering

Nope.

You get an entree and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Dessert only comes with lunch and dinner. According to the dining plan flyer, you are only entitled to your entree and a non-alcoholic beverage for breakfast, as the previous poster stated.

You're right, even if they added an extra juice/coffee/side of bacon it wouldn't be a good value. With the lower prices of breakfast entrees plus the loss of a dessert/side, the value is just plain awful.

Interesting note: If you ordered the most expensive DDP choices on Kona's breakfast menu (steak and eggs + smoothie), it would actually be less value than BOG QS breakfast!

Have you consider paying oop for breakfast? Whenever we use DDP we pay Oop for the TS breakfasts. Then we use the extra TS for a TS lunch, or a 2 credit signature dinner. Just a thought. The only time we use credits for breakfast is a snack or BOG QS.

I agree!! We would pay out of pocket for breakfast and use the credit for a lunch or dinner. Since we have been looking at increasing our stay for 1 night without having our dining plan we are going to pay for our breakfast, but use our credits for lunch or dinner.

We use dining plan credits for breakfasts, but generally only character breakfasts, since we are highly unlikely to pay for those OOP. We are also traditionally on the DDXDP, so we have enough credits to do some breakfasts and some signatures.

Nope no dessert with breakfast..

But before I say this I want to put a disclaimer out there, this is not the norm and not what the dinning plan entitles you to and we feel it was some extra pixie dust that we were given. We have been at Kona, and ordered breakfast with a smoothie and coffee or juice and soda, or extra yogurt or bacon basically each person getting something more than the main entrée or 2 drinks, and we fully expected to pay for it, and there was no charge and we even asked and our server when the bill came said your on the dinning plan ( DDXDP). Also at GFC which a favorite breakfast spot, we have had this happen several times here. While this doesn't happen or should it be expected to happen, sometimes you get a bit of pixie dust.
