DDP, Annual Pass, room disc?

I have been reading till my eyes hurt, but I am still not clear. Info...we are staying onsite, just got AP's, when I called to book our room I found out I had a pin code so I used that for my room. So...anywho I am pondering the deluxe DP (this is a dh & myself ann trip, no kids!) Can a room discount be used? AAA? AP discount? Pin codes?

You can book an AP room discount in a package with dining. You would be subject to package payment and cancellation rules.

The general rule is that you can't combined Discounts but you can combine packages.

For example, you generally ( I know some one will post that they have been able to do it) can't get an AP room rate and use your pin code or use your pin code and get free dining.
i believe you can get your pin code for your room, purchase a park pass then add on dining.

You wouldn't be able to book a room discount plus discounted (or free) dining. But from what I understand you can book a room with an AP discount and then add the dining plan (at its full price) to make it a package. An AP package would include room and dining, no tickets.
