Here is a quick review of our TS dining for May 17- 23. WE purchased the DDP. I had all ADRs made ASAP upon booking the trip at the end of February.

Mama Melrose – Dinner May 17- our group ordered these items grade A++

Pork Marsala - Pan-seared Pork Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Risotto and Asparagus topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano, and Marsala Sauce. The one's that ordered this in our group cleaned their plate but I think the following entrée is their best.

Charred Butcher Tender Steak - gorgonzola butter on roasted red pepper polenta, grilled asparagus and red wine reduction My favorite, tender juicy and flavorfull, of course I like mine medium rare and it was perfect.

Crema Limone - no sugar added lemon custard topped with fresh whipped
cream and berries Good and refreshing

Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake rich and decadent

Gelato- spumoni to die for, rich creamy and pistachios present

Crystal Palace – Dinner May 18 grade C, except for the flan

This was my least favorite TS. Average food at best. I really enjoyed the FLAN, tasted like it had cocoanut, I think I enjoyed it a little bit too much, got real fat, real quick. This is defiantly a Character situation as we were afforded numerous photo and signature opportunities with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eyore.

BOMA – Dinner May 19 grade A

What more is there to say except that we have and will go here every trip. I usually get my first plate with a small sampling of everything. Then head back for the favorites. I must say the prime rib was excellent on this night and we certainly enjoyed refreshing salads before and gorged on the desserts after. Now the fat was really coming on.

Teppan Edo – Dinner May 20 grade A++We also return here each time, used to be Teppanyaki. Have come since ’96. Always a nice refreshing change from our previous two day fat filled feast. Always enjoy the food, scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly. My favorite was the GREEN TEA PUDDING oh man, I felt like aging Elvis.

Ohana’s- Dinner May 21 grade A-
Great food, too much to eat. Really enjoyed the salad. The meat on the skewers was a little dry for me but DW likes it that way and this was her favorite. Needless to say we had two servings of the Bread pudding. Bloat, bloat, bloat.

Whispering Canyon Dinner May 22 Grade A+

OK what’s with these endless milkshakes on the DDP, bloat, bloat. Strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. The food was really good, again too much. Ribs were tender and flavorful. Cornbread mmm, mmm, mmm. We were so full we took the desserts to go. We really enjoyed seeing all that asked for the ketchup. Be careful what you ask for you just might get it. I saw a lot of review on WC about people finding the food greasy and making them feel sick. I contend they over endulged.

Chef Mickey’s – May 23 Breakfast grade A+

We always do brunch our last day at Chef Mickey’s. A good and satisfying breakfast makes for a good trip home. It also affords us the opportunity to go to the Magic Kingdom and say goodbye to Mickey.:sad2: Also lots of photo opportunities.
I must say it was a wonderful dining experience with the DDP. It seemed it was too much food for us. Snack, lunch with dessert, dinner with dessert. Some snacks became breakfast. Starring rolls café at DHS and Kringla Bakery in EPCOT we fantastic choices. We had coffee(OOP) in addition to the decadent pastries.

I know I said that it was too much for us but I know we’ll probably do the same again next trip. DW doesn’t know it but I really want to join DVC. I need some convincing before I purchase, any words of wisdom? If I do join DVC I can have an excuse to go to WDW every year. All I gotta say is I need to get my moneys worth and she’s ready to travel. :lmao:

Thanks for sharing!! My mom also loved that coconut flan at CP, her favorite item on the buffet by far. I liked the key lime pie. ;)

Glad you enjoyed most of your dining, and as far as DVC, I'm not a member, but if DH asked if we should do it, I'd be ALL OVER IT! He doesn't love WDW, so I'm not holding my breath.
