DDP and gift cards

If you are on th DDP is it possible to apply the tip to a gift card or charge it to you room so you don't have to carry cash with you in the parks.

Yes it is. You are given a receipt that shows what the total would've been without the dining plan for tipping purposes. You then have the option to apply a tip to any method of payment you choose.
