I was wondering if the dessert part of the DDP works any differently at GFC, where the desserts there are considered "mini-desserts". Are you still only entitled to 1, or since they're considered "mini" are you allowed (I hope) two?
The mini desserts are truly "mini" -- just enough for about 3 or 4 bites each. I got the chocolate fondue, and DH got two of the mini desserts -- and I wish I'd gotten the other two little desserts to try, because I already know what chocolate fondue tastes like Although, it WAS good fondue
We ate at the GF Cafe on Friday June 2 2007 and the server never told us we could get two mini desserts. My Dad and I both got the fondue but my mom got the lemon cheesecake. She was never offered a second choice.
We ate at the GF Cafe in April and were brought five or six mini-desserts on a plate as part of our plan. It was DH and myself plus DD (3) but she got her own dessert as part of her plan. I would think you would get two or possibly even more unless we just had an extra nice waiter.
We were there last month and using the DDP and part of the plan is that you can get any 2 deserts. I got 2 of the mousse cakes. They were good, but I was stuffed with the great meal I got.
