Hello all,

We have a reservation on cash for 4 nights, and so far, have only gotten one night on points off the waitlist (5 nights in all).

To book this, DVC has given us 2 reservation numbers -- one for the first 4 (cash nights) and one for the last night (the night on points). Both are "linked" and I was told by DVC we won't have to move rooms, though we may have to go down to the front desk and change keys that last day.

So my question is, will DDP be linked for all 5 nights? It will really mess us up if we have to use all of our credits by the 4th night, and then start over on the 5th. We actually have a signature restaurant on the 5th night and were planning to use up our credits then.

Thanks in advance for your help! :goodvibes

When we did that it was 2 ressies with 2 dining plans. We did not take the dining plan for the cash night since we did not want to buy park passes.

If you made all your reservations with MS, then you should be able to get the dining plan with the cash reservation. And the cash reservation should be linked to the points reservation, unless you are changing the location or room type. For example, you can't get a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV for cash, has to be for points. You can't get a BWV for cash, has to be with points.

We are staying in the same room: 4 nights preferred view studio cash + 1 night same room points. So does this mean we will get 5 nights DDP as opposed to 4 nights + 1 night?

If the cash portion of the trip is booked through Member Services and not through CRO, the dining plan can be aded without a park ticket requirement.

I called MS and they told me that they see "dining plan for 5 nights" on the reservation. So it appears it will not be split up.

If anyone has experiences to the contrary, please let me know! :thumbsup2
