DDP 2007 into 2008

Has anyone received solid-proof and/or confirmation of how the DDP will work if your trip extends from 2007 into 2008?

I called yesterday to book a reservation for Bibbity Boppity Boutique and the rep asked me if I had any other questions. I asked if the dining plan was affected because we were going to be there dec 28-jan 6 and she said no - that the plan for 2007 will be honered the entire stay. I also asked if tip and appetizer would be included even for the 2008 portion and she said yes.

We have one reservation for San Angel on the 3rd and they are not on the participating list for 2008 but the rep said not to worry as it should not affect anyone with a check in date BEFORE Dec 31.

I talked to DVC member services a couple of days ago and the CM told me if you check in in '07 you have the '07 plan for your stay. Our frineds have a split stay and therefor will have the '08 plan for a few days. I hope it won't get to tricky as we are dining together!

We arrive in Disney in late December and will depart in early January. We are renting points from a DVC member and our stay is actually split into 2 reservations (one from end of Dec. to early Jan. and one in January) due to the DVC member's point requirements. I emailed Disney, explained all the details about our stay, and asked them the same question about the DDP. Here is the exact response that I received:

While we appreciate your interest, please know that since your dining
would start on the 2007 dining plan it will not vary.

I am hopeful this information is accurate.

That is the same situation as our friends. I was told that the first part of their stay(12/30-1/3) would be '07 and the second part-a linked reservation-would be '08 since it starts on 1/3. I hope your info is the correct one!
