DDE question

Actually been hiding in a cave the last few months and now just noticed the DDE card LOL. Can it be used for kids (under 10) and adults? Looks worth it for us a family of 5.

Yes it can be used for yourself and up to 9 guests. Do you know much else about the card? You can get 20% off all your meals and alcoholic beverages. The card is for AP holders at a cost of $50 and FL residents at a cost of $75.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just wanted to make sure it applied to kids as well as adults. I learned about it here just today. We usually get the AP so I think i'm set. Just need to get my new AP and then I guess call and get the DDE card. Thanks for the help.

One more question, is your DDE card activated when you recieve it? I have my PAP voucher. I plan to activate it in March 06. When would be the best time to order my DDE card? Will it be activated when I activate my PAP or will it be activated from the date of purchase? Thanks.

I just order my card last week (August 3rd) and the CM told me it will have an expiration date of August 31 on it. She said I should have it in 3 weeks. Sounds like they are getting better at getting it out to folks. Several others have also posted that they have received their cards in about 3 weeks. So with that in mind, you can order accordingly, or you can order before you leave and use a temporary card you can pick up at EPCOT guest relations. My expiration date did not matter to me since we go every couple of months.

The DDE cards are activated when you purchase it.

The way they do it is the 20% comes of the total of your check, doesn't matter if it is kids or adults. I am not sure it is is before tax or not. I would imagine it is before.

I would wait till late Jan or early Feb to order your card. They will want the number off your voucher.

I got one for our trip in May. There are only 2 of us and we quickly made it worthwhile. You only have to spend $250 to get back your $50 and as much as we love nice restautants, it was not hard. Jiko, Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse .. 3 nights and .. aha! .. card paid for!! We will be using it again for a trip in Jan.

I think it is the bomb!!!!!!!!!! We saved on one dinner to O'hana's $106.00. We love our DDE!!!!!!!!!
