DDE question

Is it necessary to have a valid AP in order to use an existing DDE membership?There is a about a month difference between the expirations. I did not know if I would need to renew the AP to use the DDE card.

I don't ever remember being asked for my AP when using the DDE card. I know I had to show it to pick up the card, but not when using it.

I too have never been asked for my AP, heck they barely look at the DDE card, to see if it is valid! The DDE has it's own expiration date, so I would think that there is no problem.

Just back last week, 2/8 - 2/12, and was never asked to see my AP along with my DDE Card. Even let my Mom use it with her room charge as she wanted to pay and they never asked any questions.

I think the DDE is a "stand alone" with respect to expiration dates. As with the other responders, I was never asked for any AP ID when using our DDE card.

I haven't been asked for identification since they started including AP's. We needed some proof when we got the card but I have never given any since then.
