I was just checking the list on allears & noticed Ragland Road & Big River Grille do not participate. Has anyone received a new list recently?

well, if you needed another reason not to go to Big River Grill......

It's sad for us that Big River Grille doesn't, since we just recently discovered it and it's one of our top favorites.

I've read more than a few times here on this board that Raglan Road does accept the DDE. Is this an offical change?

We ate at Raglan Road this past January and they did accept the DDE card. The gift shop, however, does not honor any discount programs such as AP or DVC.

It is my undestanding that if it is not Disney owned they do not honor the DDE and I have the lastest list and Raglan Road is not on it nor Big River Grill. But the list is subject to change.

Raglan Road definately accepts DDE, whether you are dining or just having drinks at the bar. We were there last night and it worked just fine!

Interesting. I made an ADR for Ragland Road on Wednesday for our upcoming May trip and asked if they accepted DDE. The CM asked me to hold for a second while she checked then came back and said, "I'm sorry but DDE is not accepted at Ragland Road." I'm guessing now that she was incorrect?

We just ate at Raglan Road Thursday night, and they did accept the DDE card. In fact we stopped at the check in desk Wednesday night to find out how busy they usually are, and we were told then they accept the card. :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone. I'm going to keep my reservations & try to use it. If not, oh well, but 20% makes quite a difference when your feeding 6 people.

If you go on the WDW site, their new dining brochure DOES list Raglan RD. as a TS meal on the Dining Plan.

I was surprised that its accepted at ESPN. I found out from IPO yesterday that you can make an actual reservation at Big River Grille by calling the restaurant directly.

Twice at BIg river is enough for me, not again.

I've read a number of BAD reviews for this place. It's nearby where we're staying in May and would like to hear the positives...

What's good about it?

So where can I see a recent list? The one I have is almost a year old.

The burgers and the beer are pretty good. The meatloaf used to be good, but last trip it was rather dry, almost w/o gravy, and quite bland.

Ahhhh, Uncleromulus... I can trust YOUR opinion! We're pretty interested in the BEER aspect. I've heard that they have their own brands. If that is true... are they the same all year round? Do they do Beer Flights? Or do you recommend any in particular. Plus... I'm always happy with a good burger.
Thanks, Mel.

The beer is the best part :teeth: I'm a huge beer nut.

They have a pale ale, red ale, pilsner, light lager year round. The pale ale is very good, and the red ale is probably the best I've had - it has a pleasant bitter note and good malt flavor. I won't try the light lager, I hate light beers. The pilsner was forgettable.

Right now, they have a cask conditioned stout and a brown ale. Both are fantastic, though my favorite is the stout. The stout is best at about 60 F, so you have to let it sit for a few if they bring it out chilled. The summer one is a wheat, and I haven't tried it yet since we just started going.

So far we've tried the hummus, cheese dip, cheese soup, and dijon chicken sandwich. Everything's been excellent, though the beer is definitely the selling point.

There is a beer flight, it has all of the beers available. I opted for a second sampling of the stout since I wanted to avoid the light.

So, out of the beers, I'd recommend the stout, red ale, pale ale, and brown ale...hmmm, maybe you should just get the flight. ;)
