DDE Card or Dining Plan??

Hi,

We are trying to decide between both of these options. We will have AP's but our DVC members, so can do either. Has anyone actually figured out what saves the most money?? My DH thinks that we may just save more money going with the Dining Plan because drinks are not included so we wouldn't have any. But, if we had the card and knew we could get a discount we would just order one,lol. We will probably do one TS and one Quick-Service meal a day for everyone in our family. (2 adults, 3 kids) Though there are days were we have 2 TS meals planned, (But my feeling is that we wouldn't need an appetizer or dessert at both.) Anyone have an opinion?? Thanks!!

Why not both? You can do the dining plan and also use the DDE card for discounts on anything you have to pay for OOP. This is what I'm planning to do. The DDE card is good for a year, so if you go more than this trip, you'll certainly save enough to cover the cost.
