DDE and Fantasmic

Anyone know if you can use the DDE for the fantasmic dinner package at MGM?

I believe that the Fantasmic dinner packages are specifically excluded from the DDE program. Of course, I can't find the info that came with our cards now, but this is my recollection.

We ate at H&V in August and was able to use the DDE discount . I don't see why you wouldn't be able to since there is no added expense for Fantasmic package. We made adr for Oct H&V fantasmic package and told CM we had card and she didn't say we wouldn't receive discount.

Officially, Fantasmic packages are excluded from DDE. But it never hurts to ask your server...if you get it fine...but don't feel entitled to it.

We have a FDP at H&v in October. I didn't realize that this was excluded. I wonder why it would be? Seeing were going in the off season I may just switch that to a regular adr rather than go with the package. We are a family of 5 with 2 DS15, DDE saves us a LOT of $$.

Most "reserved seating" type packages, like Fantasmic and Candleight Dinner packages are excluded.

Are we all talking about the same DDE (disney dining experience 20% off all TS meals) card that annual passholders and florida residents can get, because I can't find anything on this site or allearsnet that says Fantasmic package is excluded. They both mention the other meals that are excluded.

I have also heard that it is excluded.

I have the DDE card...and I am doing the FDP at HBD in Oct. You can bet that I will politely ask for the CM to honor it. If he/she says no, I will not fight it...no biggie. Doesn't hurt to ask, though.

I have the paperwork in front of me, FDP and CP are excluded. However, people usiung H&V may get it anyway as they pay the same prce as everyone else. At the other resturants it is a specific package price so there is less flexability.
